Another one is Biomechanical, they sound like power metal meets Pantera...

Twelfth Gate has good vocals. They're usually described as Progressive Thrash, but there's a lot of power in them.
|
Sweet, I'll have to check those out. Thanks guys!
|
Symphony X has really great vocals too. Allen has an amazing voice IMO.
|
What ho
How's the new 3IOB shaping up for everyone? It's catchy as hell for me. |
I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.
But Against the Wind is swiftly becoming one of my favourite songs. Dungeon is fucking awesome. |
It's very very cool.
Massively uplifting, in the One shot at Glory stakes (got to be the most uplifting song ever. How are you Alexi? |
What ho

I still like Advance And Vanquish better. And Dungeon does indeed still own.
|
Under Jolly Roger was great. Finally gave then a listen.
For Symphony X, I saw them live a week ago;was great. Sea ofLies was the best part of the night for me. Russel does indeed have a great voice. |
Yeah, Running Wild is an awesome band.
|
Driving around to Running Wild is awesomesauce.
And Symphony X live is still the best band I've seen live so far. |
PASSING THROUGH THE VOID
his voice was incredible. They played The Odyssey(sp?) as an encore. |
Rhapsody is simply awesome. All of their albums are great.
Yuck...I could do without Rhapsody. Man, I can you stand that stuff? |
PASSING THROUGH THE VOID

They did that in Chicago too, I hear.
|
I'm going to see Dream Theater again soon, SX are supporting, should be great.
|
Anyone heard the new Slough Feg?
|
I'm going to see Dream Theater again soon, SX are supporting, should be great.
That would be really good. Somewhere I've got a vid clip of me attempting to play Inferno. I've got the intro and main riff down, just not up to tempo. I can play along with it at about .7 speed in windows media. Any faster than that and my fingers end up tied in a knot. I am gonna see 3 Inches of Blood in a couple weeks. They're supporting Behemoth. Should be a good show. NP: Blind Guardian - And The Story Ends |
3 Inches of Blood and Behemoth does not seem like a likely pairing. 3 Inches are about as much fun as music will allow though imo.
|
No I didn't think so either, but they're both ozzfest bands just playing a few off-fest dates together. Whatever. It should be a good show.
|
I dunno, I can see a lot of Behemoth fans enjoying 3 Inches Of Blood.
Anyone heard the new Slough Feg?
I haven't, but I've heard that they returned to the same style as Traveller. |
^You wish :\
|
Oh? What direction have they taken?
|
Finally found it! ****ing page 14 of R&M.
Anyway, so I listened to Persuader's The Hunter today, and it was great. Especially the title track. Anyone else? |
I prefer Evolution Purgatory.
|
I like Evolution Purgatory and When Eden Burns.
|
NP Running Wild
I only had Under Jolly Roger for a while, but then got Port Royal. Much better overall IMO. The title track off UJR was the only amazing track on the album for me. |
NP: Death or Glory
Have to love Running Wild. |
