soz double post.
Just realised what ive been missing out on, just heard Agent Steel - Unstoppable Force and Artillery - Terror Squad and im liking them a lot i need more :) |
I'm really liking the new Overkill, it's a consistent album and it doesn't really have any moments where you kinda cringe, yet. A Pound of Flesh is quite good.
Dimebag: Which days you going to download? I wanted to go and see Megadeth on the friday but I'd see them and then have to sit through a load of shit bands *cough* Feeder *cough*so I'll probably go on the Saturday and Sunday to see Anthrax and Slayer. Also, I didn't know Nuclear Assault were playing, that is gonna be so fucking awesome to see them live :D |
lucky europeans and their festivals
|
Well i seen megadeth in febuary so not seeing them at download dont worry me too much even though its said its their last ever european show, atm im just heading to the saturday show because soad and slipknot headlining over slayer is just WRONG plus ive seen slayer once before i owuld like to see em again but thats an extra 40squid to see about 3 decent bands. oh yeh and Nuclear arent playing download my bad they are playing in june but its in rock city.
|
Heh, we don't get much good thrash down in Australia. Although i am seeing Megadeth on april 15
On another note, I just turned on my local metal radio show, and World Anarchy came on \m/ |
Awesome, nice to see Kreator getting some media coverage :)
Yeah SoAD and Shitknot headlining over Slayer is just plain wrong. I suppose I could see Slayer and just stay and throw bottles ;) |
****ing hell, last download waiting for metallica to come on, the biggest bottle war ever lol i was right in the middle as well, sucked :(
|
Enemy Of God was the feature album last week :D

On another note, I just turned on my local metal radio show, and World Anarchy came on \m/
Wish i had a local metal radio show. Only metal thing on TV here is usually Kerrang which plays ****. Dimebag: That Artillery is great, get Fear of Tommorow. |
They don't play heaps of thrash sadly, sometimes i request something off Tempo Of The Dam.ned, they play too much Metalcore for my liking but.
|
Do you use Soulseek m-m?
If so whats your username? NP: Evil - Mercyful Fate. \m/ |

I remember that bottle fight, I had just found my place after returning from Slayer then everyone grew impatient and started throwing bottles and... at one point i even saw a bag of shit flying through the air, Slipknot fans eh  I wasn't too far away from those two guys who climbed that tower either, that was extremely funny I hope the waiting isn't so bad this year, two hours to get in the **** place, one hour waiting for the first band, then an average of 30 min intervals between each band then the 1 1/2 hour wait for 'tallica. Sucked :upset: |
I'm really liking Years of Decay. I didn't listen to it as much as my other three(Feel the Fire/**** You, Taking Over, Horrorscope) when I first had it. I love the dark atmosphere and the long gloomey songs.
The Years of Decay is my most listened to Overkill album. Any more revolutions in my stereo, and I think the disc will break. :D DD: I'm jealous of you, getting to see Nuclear Assault. Have a good time at that show! |
Perhaps! I always think about Bands like Slayer without a Bassist and wonder if it would actually make a difference. Also! I've been listening to Carcass recently...they so easily could have been a Thrash band.
The music would sound so empty without a bassist. I need to check out some more uber thrash bands, what have you guys been listening to? NP: Dark Moor - Beyond The Fire \m/ EURO-POWER METAL HOTNESS! |
Wasn't Evil Never Dies suppossed to be called Overkill III? At the very end of the song you can hear the riff from the first Overkill in it
It would be Overkill Four. Np: Razor-Behind Bars And before I forget, HAPPY EASTER, JESUS LOVES YOU ALL |

Np: Razor-Behind Bars And before I forget, HAPPY EASTER, JESUS LOVES YOU ALL
Yes you're right, my bad |
It would be Overkill Four.
Correct. The first Overkill song out of the 4 is probably the best IMO. Mind you "Evil Never Dies" is aslo very good, even if it isn't called Overkill IV. |
Correct.
Andralls. Check them out, NOW.
Meh, you really like this? I'm listening to the songs on their website, I don't like it at all with the exception of a few good/decent riffs. This is way too modern, especially the production. It's too in your face without the I'M GOING TO FVCKING RIP YOUR FACE OFF feeling. |

That's probably their newer stuff. The albums I have on Soulseek are the preferred ones to listen to. I think you've d/l'ed from me before, so go ahead and grab those albums off of me. Other new bands to check out are Speed Kill Hate, Sauron, Violator, Incinerator, Delirium Tremens, and Hypnosia. |
Sauron is pretty good. Never heard the other ones.
|
Yeah, Sauron owns. The riff in Tormentor just kills, AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the logo is fvcking hot as well.

Information on the new Nuclear Assault album taken from their official website:
The long-awaited new studio album from thrash metal innovators Nuclear Assault is near completion. Ten years in the making and tentatively titled '3ed World Genocide,' the album is scheduled for mid-2004 release on Screaming Ferret Wreckords. It will be the follow-up to the 2003 live album 'Alive Again' on Screaming Ferret. 'Alive Again' was Nuclear Assault's first release in nine years. Vocalist/guitarist John Connelly, bass guitarist Danny Lilker, drummer Glenn Evans and new guitarist Scott Harrington are wrapping up working on '3ed World Genocide' at the Manchester, NH, studios of Screaming Ferret head Timothy Koukos. Former member Erik Burke also plays guitar on the album, which is being co-produced by Koukos and Evans. Original songs were contributed by Evans, Connelly and Lilker. '3ed World Genocide' is a rich blend of Nuclear Assault's lethal, politically conscious metal and songs showcasing the band's wicked sense of humor. A few surprises are in store for fans too. The songs include: "Price of Freedom," "3ed World Genocide," "Fractured Minds," "Defiled Innocents," "Living Hell," "Human Wreckage," "Eroded Liberty," "Whine &Cheese" (a spoof of "mall rock"), "Celtic Frosty Cold Beer" (a Celtic Frost spoof with lyrics about the ingredients of beer), "Folsom Prison Blues" (a Johnny Cash cover) and "LHA" (or "Long Haired Asshole," a country/bluegrass song originally recorded for Connelly's solo album 'Back to Basics' officially credited as the John Connelly Theory.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG |
