Clerks is a masterpiece simple.
Clerks 2 was fun but it didn't even touch Clerks 1.
But I expect that.

Sort of like Toy Story and then Toy Story 2.

yeah honestly, clerks, its a master peice. Granted, clerks 2 didnt go near clerks 1, but i was still laughing my a'ss off, those four characters are just incredible.

It got really good reviews for a sequal to a 10 year old movie.
And for just a comedy.

Movies that have come out this summer have really sucked.

the theatre was completely empty when i was there this afternoon. It was the perfect thing, me and my buddy had the whole thing to ourselves. I don't think it will do that well. You cant watch it without seeing Clerks first and its going up against pirates of the gayabean and other crappy family movies which will swipe the audience. But i like it that way, Clerks has always been a thing only for people who can really get it and appreciate it.

Pirates is cool, and so is Monster House.
I was talking about Little Man, Lady in the Water, and Super Ex.

I think Clerks will do well with the Indie Film crew and adults that like college/adult oriented humor.

i agree about their films, although sometimes ill catch their old nineties show on BET and it will be mildy entertaining, if only from the sheer volume of stereotypes.

Thats all Hollywood does. Then they realize its oscar season and they put some [B]s[/B]hit film together about racism make it super serious and they win some prize which I'm told is gold. And its also on tv.
