It's sad, but I think the whale's gonna die :(.
Aren't people trying to rescue it?
Aren't people trying to rescue it?
there's a limit to what you can do to help a 7 tonne whale. i mean, it's kinda hard to just push it back out to sea.

Jev 01-21-2006 11:10 AM
Aren't people trying to rescue it?
Yes. But because it's not meant to lay on it's stomach it may suffocate or something.

IAJP 01-21-2006 11:10 AM
Aren't people trying to rescue it?
Yeah they are, it's kinda hard, I think it weighs like 5.7 tonnes or something.

Isn't that species of dolphin?

I thought grey whales were in the North Atlantic. Though I may be thinking of something else.

TheDMV 01-21-2006 11:32 AM
Isn't that species of dolphin?
That's what I thought when I first read that.

Here we go http://www.whaletimes.org/btlnose.htm

Lord Abortion 01-21-2006 12:16 PM

I'm annoyed. I found out all my mates are going to a party tonight. Either they forgot to tell me or I wasn't supposed to find out.

Ouch, that sucks.

I went to a party last night, well maybe not a party..maybe like a small gathering of like 25 people I guess you could call it. It was fun :)

If I look at how many times I post about beer on here, you could think I'm an alcoholic

It's not true though, but I enjoy my beer :)

I'm off for the night, have a good night everyone

Yeah, the made-me-quit stories I hear most involve a feeling of loss of control.
I've had a weird experience where things seemed like in a dream (=slow motion, i was there but didnt feel right etc) but I cant explain why...

drinking convo
I used to hate drinking but Jelle showed me the right way. I'm a fan of whiskey now but I havent been drunk (just a little dizzy maybe).

How do you know that? Could be because of poor diet or smoking...

Damn.

Anyway, I just got home from an organ concert! 'Twas awesome indeed, there's nothing like hearing an organ played live. The organinst was damn good aswell, but then that seems to be a standard amongst concert organists.

I thought I was alone. For some reason beer also gets me drunk quicker than spirits, even if they're the same volume.

Yeah sure thing. Did you have anything particular in mind? If not, I'll just pick out some of his more famous works.

Ok. As I'm cut for time, I'll have to upload less then I was originally going to. No matter, I'll just do the rest tomorrow evening. For now I'm uploading his piano concerto No.20, it's one of my favourites, probably because I've heard it live. Oh, and if anyone else wants the link sent leave an email and I'll try and get it to you aswell.

DJ Shadow is so awesome...

You Can't Go Home Again is a song I have listened to many times, but I always find something new tucked into the layers of waveforms with every listen.
