Look I don't find Loomis to be a bad guitarist, I just think he's boring and uncreative. It's cool that he can "shred"; so can every fat dude at every music store working in the guitar sections.

Everything about River Dragon is good. All of his solos other than that one suck balls. And he sucks at writing riffs.

Jeff Loomis sucks.

All Bloodbath is throughly enjoyable and I'm sure that the opinion on them has flipped in the past 6 months.

I like Bloodbath. That's pretty much as far as I go though.

I enjoy Nightmares Made Flesh once in awhile, but Resurrection Through Carnage is quite dull, including the vocals.

RTC blows so hard. the fact that two geniuses (akerfeldt and swano) were involved in an album that bad is mindboggling.

I honestly don't know how you can hate that album and like anything from the early nineties out of Sweden. If you're only complaint is the guitar tone, that's one of the overdone things that make it rule.
