They must have been preppys. Do you remember what school they were from?
Well them ones were from some University in Georgia.

Aweomse you met Jas!

coheneran 07-16-2006 11:24 AM

Yeah, I said "Hey you're Jas from the internet aren't you!?" and she got mad. Good times.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-16-2006 11:26 AM

haha, the only person i've met from mx is kif.

Neoteric 07-16-2006 12:38 PM

Wow, Black Flag are awesome.

Glitterati 07-16-2006 01:52 PM

Damn skippy they're awesome.

The only time I came close to meeting an mxer was I almost went to a local rock show with pikester. He lives like a half hour drive away from me, we'll have to chill some time.

sketchyjoe 07-16-2006 03:08 PM

I think I've seen Jas at gigs but never been quite drunk enough to say "Hello, you know me from being an arsehole on the internets!"

Danger Bird 07-16-2006 04:07 PM

Hey everyone look at The Coffin Daggers.
http://www.myspace.com/thecoffindaggers

Their self-titled album sounds like the Pulp Fiction soundtrack on acid.

You're a butt plug I need to meet you.

How about you come to my house on Tuesday morning and meet me and Eran. It's not gonna be creepy or anything. King Blues are rapping their stuff out, like.

Drop a line to jas[at]pmzine[dot]co[dot]uk for some info and that if you wanna come (do it do it do it).

sketchyjoe 07-16-2006 04:47 PM

I'd love you but unfortunately Tuesday is the start of my new job that I really need. I'll see you at a gig at some point though, definitely.

SantaDuJuan 07-16-2006 05:53 PM

Jobs suck.

I love my job too.

Danger Bird 07-16-2006 09:28 PM

eran, check your email.

TakeWarning 07-16-2006 09:52 PM

I need a job quite badly, but I'm too lazy to get one.

Flagjacket 07-16-2006 10:26 PM

**** jobs, I just post on the corner all day.

Ghostfire3 07-16-2006 10:50 PM

My job's not too bad. I work in a music shop and when it's not busy I just play guitar. Pretty cool.

Kevin works the corner near the nail salon.

asdf 07-16-2006 10:55 PM

My only means of money is selling tie-dye.

I tried very little to get a job this summer. I went to my local bicycle repair shop asking to apprentince there, and they said no. They haven't hired anyone in 15 years. Too bad, because I really wanted to learn.

Other then that... yeah. Didn't apply. I want to work at this vintage clothing store downtown, but I'm sure they're not hiring. I'd also love to work at a record store around here, but one is looking to sell, and the other one is gonna go out of buisness pretty soon too.

If I really wanted to put my entreprenurial spirit to use, I would open an arcade.

Glitterati 07-16-2006 11:09 PM

I start my new job at 6:30 tomorrow morning. Construction :flexes muscles:

Also, I almost forgot, but it would have been Johnny Thunders's birthday today. He would have been 54, but, you know....the heroin.

obese_breasts 07-16-2006 11:28 PM

Set Your Goals was awesome tonight. So much fun.

Flagjacket 07-16-2006 11:37 PM

F'uck you Griff.

I wanna see SYG :(

Man, Johnny Thunders' birthday is 2 day before mine! I've been on a real Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers binge lately. I've been listening to them a lot and I just learned One Track Mind on guitar, so I've been playing that a lot.

R.I.P. Johnny :(

Flagjacket 07-17-2006 05:40 AM

Johnny Thunders is the American Sid Vicious. Which means he's essentially the same, but just by nature he's more badass and cooler in general.

coheneran 07-17-2006 05:59 AM

I'm 10 seconds into the track and the Coffin Daggers ROCK!
