Sup Casual thread, I can't remember the last time I posted in here.

Things have been going really great with my band...we just started work on our 7th song last night, and we'll probably have it done by like Friday or something. We've only been an offical band for a month and 8 days, and we're already halfway done with a 7th song. Man, I've been with bands for MONTHS and not seen a 7th song, let alone finished one! We also have a name now (barring someone taking it, which last I knew, no one had)...we'll be called [b]Futher From Failure[/b], and we will rock you harder than you've ever been rocked before!!!one.

...Ok that might be a slight exaggeration, but then again, it might not. We're all very happy with the music, and we think people will definetly be able to get into it, so...soon, very soon, you'll all hear music...with good bass, of course :p

For our 7th song, I'm actually playing the 4 string...tuned ADGC. Before you go thinking "Holy shi[color=white]t[/color], JoZ playing a tenor bass! :eek:" let me assure you this is [b]low[/b] ADGC. The song is in D, and because of the faster part in the song, drop D just wasn't going to cut it. So I slapped on a set of thick strings (.75-.95-.115-.130) on it and away we go. I also get a few sections to actually use the low A string, which is cool for me, because I've always wanted to have a song that used it and didn't sound like a Korn song...

So...sup?

I just recorded a crazy psychadelic improvisation using my me50-b. I started off with some chorus, wah, and some russian muff fuzz. Then I looped a tapping line so it would play continously at a steady beat. I then improvised over it throwing chords here and there. It sounds really cool! I'll post it up soon :)

If you wanna cheer up, do yourself a favor and buy the new QOTSA record that came out today. It helped for me.

I don't like it as much as Songs For The Deaf or Rated R.

Meh. I need a new amp. There are going to be extra costs now...rack case, power conditioner, the **** cab itself...

Yeah, I agreem it's not as good as the last three albums. It has it's moments, though, such as "everybody knows that you're insane".
Rated R is still my favourite by far.

Man, my girlfriend can't do anything today. Apparently her dad doesn't trust us and is afraid she'll get mono. :p
