Most of the asian kids at LP fall into the bible-thumbing, ultra-conservative category(though there were some very notable exceptions). Haha. Well the problem is that a lot of the Northside kids are the ones that would've gone to New Trier but have the relatives in Chicago who they put as their address. That's why there's a bunch of rich kids. :p

Just wait until you hear the Ms. Tookey horror stories. They're all true, but then in the last few weeks of senior year the becomes really nice and everyone ends up liking her after everything is over. It's kind of scary.

Too bad he choose the school that is not 5 minutes away from a GC. Ohh man, I wasted way too much time there, at one point there was even a jam room that my band used all the time. Great fun, though the drums sucked.

Try having four teeth pulled with NOTHING. The injection stuff didnt work on me or anything so I had to get them pulled out with no numbness or pain killers..

It was complete hell. (I got £20 for them though!)

Oh, and the dentist remarked how long the teeth were too! (they are the "vampire fang" ones. I dont know their proper name)


Meh... I hated my braces. Ive got lovely teeth now though :)

I actually went to the Arlington Heights GC the other day. :) Was fun. A kid was like "6-strings? Who the **** would use that?" at an SR506. I showed him up, oh yes I did.

Oh, and Mitchell, did the Lefkow murder make it's way to Germany?

This judge, she came home one night to find her mother and husband shot, executioner style.

A couple weeks (I think?) later, a guy was pulled over by the police, and while getting pulled over, he shot himself in the head. His suicide note stated that he had killed the mother and husband of the judge, as he felt that the rulings he had been given in other cases were unfair. Because of unfairness in the jobs he worked in, he lost his jobs and family (or so he claimed). He had a hit list of other people.

He shot himself somewhere around Drake and Wilson...It made national news.

Worst story I heard, a kid that went to LP for freshman year and then moved away because his parent got divorced. By senior year he was living with his mom and his step-dad. Step-dad freaks out and shoots him in the back of his head while he's sitting at his computer then goes and kills his mom. Scary stuff, considering that a lot of my friends knew him and were really saddened by his death.
