Agorapocalypse is one of my favorite releases of this year. And I love the booklet that comes with the album as well. I need to check out Vacant Coffin because I love Autopsy and Ghoul...so, I will get on that.

I was very pleasantly surprised by it.

It's OK, not sure how it could be someone's album of the year, though.

I never said it was the album of the year, but it is in my top 10 list. I like it a lot because there are awesome riffs, it is intense, it is well produced, has a lot of aggression, and the songs are well written.

Grindcore album of the year goes to Hatred Surge.

Yeah [I]Deconstruct[/I] dominated.

I don't know that Weezer album with Lil Wayne guest spots and All American Rejects writing credits was definitely up there.

agorapocalypse is a great album, nice that they incorporated so much of a thrash influence

though i wouldnt have minded if they had taken a bit more acid while writing it

It sounds like it, but it's much different than the riff in crazy train. I don't think they were trying to do something like that.

I like Brutal Truth - Evolution through revolution and Magrudergrinds s/t a little bit more than Deconstuct but they all rule. Those are probably my top grind albums. Agorapoclypse is cool but I'd rather listen to Pig Destroyer. Still its a good album.

it's not close to enough to where i'd say it's a rip off, but it's so noticeable that i almost got the impression that it was created by wondering what crazy train would sound like sped up.
