Depends on what your doing exactly
Working for the gov, translating i guess. Or just getting paid to translate texts.

RouteOne 04-13-2008 09:29 PM

This may sound bad but

I've never listened to thrice before.

Depends on how many languages you can translate. My teacher got paid around 90,000 working as a translator, and he was fluent in 5.

I've only heard ther two most recent albums. They are pretty chill.

Iluvatar 04-13-2008 09:32 PM

Vheissu should be a mandatory R&M listen.

Aakon_Keetreh 04-13-2008 09:33 PM

hmm. Thats pretty sweet.

RouteOne 04-13-2008 09:33 PM

Damn, I'm liking thrice. They're coming to play a show near me on May 12th, too. Hmmm might check them out.

Kingofdudes 04-13-2008 09:33 PM

havent heard vheissu, only the first alchemy release. Gonna get the second when I get back to my dorm

Iluvatar 04-13-2008 09:34 PM

The Alchemy Indexes are good but don't got nothing on Vheissu.

The only one that lives up to it IMO is Air.

gmoneyguy 04-13-2008 09:35 PM

Vheissu just finished downloading.

I got shocked my an electric fence today. It was pretty cool... they're a little more powerful than I thought.

Iluvatar 04-13-2008 10:37 PM

Once I peed on an electric fence and my penis got shocked

I can still have kids.

did you it on purpose or what?

Nostalgia 04-13-2008 10:39 PM

No I was pushing out my friend's truck, so I got in front of it and started pushing and I guess my heel touched it.

The tips of my fingers hurt for like two hours.

Iluvatar 04-13-2008 10:40 PM

yeah shits strong bro.

was it residential or commerical?

Nostalgia 04-13-2008 10:42 PM

Residential, thankfully, haha.

Iluvatar 04-13-2008 10:44 PM

Yeah man I wouldn't **** with anything that a company uses.

I think there are different restrictions on voltage and stuff. Not that anybody probably even pays attention to that.

Permanent Solution 04-13-2008 10:51 PM

Current is what matters, not voltage

Nostalgia 04-13-2008 10:52 PM

Well I imagine a 1 volt fence would hurt less than a 1000 voltage one would.

Iluvatar 04-13-2008 10:52 PM

should i edit my post to include that or did your UNASKED FOR addendum do the trick

Nostalgia 04-13-2008 10:53 PM

Hey Vince, do you go to a retard college or something? I know a bunch of really stupid people who got accepted to ASU.

Deth 04-13-2008 10:53 PM

You're messing with an electrical engineering major fools.

Iluvatar 04-13-2008 10:54 PM

care.
Well I imagine a 1 volt fence would hurt less than a 1000 voltage one would.
Yes but that's because higher voltages will generate higher currents. But the currents are what hurts/kills.
Hey Vince, do you go to a retard college or something? I know a bunch of really stupid people who got accepted to ASU.
Well it's a public school...

My program is 26th in the nation.

Iluvatar 04-13-2008 10:55 PM
Yes but that's because higher voltages will generate higher currents. But the currents are what hurts/kills.
Well then wouldn't the limits then still be placed on voltages and not currents?

Permanent Solution 04-13-2008 10:56 PM
Well then wouldn't the limits then still be placed on voltages and not currents?
Yes. But what I'm saying is, if you soak your hand in water and touch a 100V fence, you'll get more f'ed up than if you were to touch it with a dry hand. For instance.
