Want to do my homework?

Barely sleeping last night is really messing with my attention span... I just want some sleep.
I have my own school to do, I am just not motivated enough to do it. But I think that I finally figured out why I have school so much, there is no creativity involved in what I am doing. I just memorize stuff and spit it out how they want it.

That isn't how I want to spend the rest of my life. If all of university is like this I don't think that I'll end up finishing.

It sucks, there is no motivation in something like that. It just turns you into a generic person. I always thought that university was for learning and being creative, but now I realize that it does nothing more than assimilate our minds into thinking as one.

Depending on your major, you get a bit more freedom, methinks.

Nothing really interests me except for history and even that is kind of boring. At this point I am 95% sure that I will be taking next year off.

Are you a senior now??

If you can support yourself financially, go for it, just don't get stuck in that rut.

I am in my first year of university. I can get a job that pays the bills, I figure that if I make $10 an hour it will cover my bills for the month plus give be a bit of money left over. My roommate does it on $11.50 an hour and two weeks pay covers all of his stuff.

I've been thinking. Why not just put the switch in the middle of the hot wire?

I sprained my thumb last night. It sucks being able to use the thumb on your dominant hand so little. :amaze:

The Brad 11-09-2006 07:47 PM

True, but at least I am not an art collector. Some big bucks being thrown down in that field just for pissing contests. I don't know if you heard, but millionaires are now just buying expensive works of art to show their monetary worth a la purchaseers of Steve Wynn's Picaso and David Geffen's Pollock.

Also, I have almost all of my bass gear sold. :(

I hope this episode is somewhat decent because I thought epiosde 11 was incredibly boring.

The Brad 11-09-2006 08:06 PM

"Do you know how many n00bs I am going to pwn this year?"

BenJammin 11-09-2006 08:07 PM

I've got 3 of my 4 papers started now.

I actually feel relatively decent about whether or not I'll be able to get all this crap finished in time.

Pluperfect_Arson 11-09-2006 08:10 PM

"I was 44 and 1! Some n00b actually managed to kill me, and they still kicked me!"

"How'd you die?"

"Oh, friendly fire."

One Groovin Clown 11-09-2006 08:10 PM

I should probably stop procrastinating on my paper. It's due Monday, 7-8 pages.

Easy stuff, I'm just not bothered enough to do it.

Yeah. I've prioritised my papers based on length, difficulty, and due dates.

I have an easy paper due next Thursday. I've started it.

I have a really hard and long paper due on the 30th. I've started it.

I have a fun, easy, but long short story due on the 29th. I've started it.

One Groovin Clown 11-09-2006 08:14 PM

I have a research paper in which I'll be discussing the ideas of Safe injection Sites.
Apparently they've been quite successful in parts of Europe. I still don't see why politicians are still against them.
