Tommorow is father's day?

Brain Toad 06-17-2006 04:45 PM

It is.

I'm going to my grandparents. I didn't get my dad anything though since the only time I've been able to go out shopping, he's been with me and I don't have any money.

Liebensaft 06-17-2006 04:58 PM

I got my dad a card, and we're going out to eat I think.

AIRIC 06-17-2006 05:05 PM

I don't live with my dad so I guess...

sketchyjoe 06-17-2006 05:06 PM

Going into the pop-punk forum is like getting very drunk. You tell yourself you'll never do it again, but enough time passes and it sounds like a good idea so you end up with a hangover or an unbearable rage that people can have such awful taste in music.

I went to my first punk rock show last night. It was amazing one of the best experiences I ever have had in my life. I saw the unseen and it was unlike anything I've ever been to before. The concerts I've gone to before have been like Bob Dylan and stuff like that. Here I was right up against the speakers, stage, and feet of the band moshing and circle pitting. I felt such a strong connection to the band and the others in the audiance. And I the band didn't just walk off and go back stage, they walked off through the crowd and stood behind the tee shirt stand talking to those in line. I even got to walk up to Mark and shake his hand and say "thanks for showing me a great first punk show" I've never been able to do that before to someone I listened to!
Jack the dog and 22 doggy pals went to the dog party to end all dog parties. They all met 35 dogs each on the way. Those dogs bring 3 doggy brothers and sisters. Dog mayhem! And the best thing? Every dog gets a doggy bag!
Could it be that you count only the "dogs", but no "doggies"?
I say 23*35 + 3 instead of 23*35*3, since it doesn't say each one of the 35 dogs they met with had 3 dog siblings. It just says they have 3 dog brothers and sisters. I thought maybe by that it meant that there were 3 total dog siblings, and not 3 for each one.
I agree that you should *** 3 rather than multiply by it, but 23*35+3 leaves out Jack and his 22 pals, only showing the 35 they each met. By that logic, it should be 23*35+25=830

It was an amazing show. DOA was so full of energy. Its great how they're in there 40s and they were more into it then the other younger bands.

Brain Toad 06-18-2006 04:40 PM

And I'll probably be on the computer very little in the next 48 hours.

AIRIC 06-18-2006 04:50 PM

Mostly just because I have nothing to do for a few days. I'm sure I won't be on that much but I will be a lot.

sketchyjoe 06-18-2006 05:35 PM

You'll have plenty of time to do Forced Listening now then.

Rise Me Up 06-18-2006 06:46 PM

Rise Me Up 06-18-2006 06:52 PM

Meh, I changed my mind. Avatars are for sellouts.
