I'm still voting Hillary in the primaries. I've said before how much I resent the deification of Obama as it is. If Obama gets the nomination, I'll vote for him, but Hillary remains my first choice.

Anyway, went to an anime convention yesterday even though I haven't watched any anime other than Cowboy Bebop in like 2 years. Got a couple nice pictures, but the convention really needed more hot chicks in skimpy clothing. 50% of the people in costume had those Naruto headbands. I've never seen the show, nor do I care to, all I know is that fans of the show make me feel like Peter Lorre in M.

In addition to the pictures, I also got a sweet Batman belt buckle from the dealers room. Yes, I know Batman is technically not anime, but I don't care. Your value as a human being can be measured by how much you like Batman.

I'm curious why you like Hilary more than Obama. Not arguing, but from my understanding they have similar views on most issues except that Obama doesn't have corporations funding him and controling him. Enlighten me please.

Well, partly it's because I like her stance on healthcare better. Partly, I like the idea of Bill being the one to go overseas and repair our image in the world community. If we're going to talk experience, she's done more than Obama has during her career.

And as for the whole corporate money in the campaigns thing, I don't doubt that Obama has a lot of support from the grassroots work, but I somehow doubt he's going to be the one to remove corporate money from the equation if he gets elected.

You seem very informed, so I respect your opinion. Obama did say a lot of things about fixing the whole corporate money thing and helping to keep jobs in the US by rewarding companies that do so.
