There's really not enough funeral doom out there yet to keep the show fresh. I'd wind up playing the same artists too often. We're not supposed to play the same artist within the same 2 hour show. With all genres of metal, I can play an artist and not play them again for a number of weeks. Couldn't do that with funeral doom.

That being said, funeral doom songs are long so I'd probably only be able to fit in 12 songs a show haha

But another factor - I have a co-host and she doesn't wanna do funeral doom

Yea, fairly small but quality section. Cheap too.

I'm lucky that Double Decker Records exists (local record/cd store that has an amazing used section).

I've found so many awesome albums for $2-$5 a pop there.

Colossal Titan Strife is a great album. The word is to ignore their latest.
