Soft drinks are nasty. If you stop drinking them for a few months, afterwards they really taste horrible. I mean, seriously, it's impossible to see why people enjoy them. I haven't drank a soft drink (excluding the odd one mixed with liqueor) in about five years.

I've spilt a couple of things on my keyboard and it's never stopped working.

I think if you pop the keys off and clean them with a wet rag it should stop the stickiness, maybe wipe down the inside as well.
