horseypie 08-08-2009 01:15 AM

avoiding researching some shitty lake in cambodia for an engineering ethics design project
what degree are you doing?

rasputin 08-08-2009 01:16 AM

arts/economics, majors in politics, german, economic history, economic theory. it's the stupid theory which has got me stuck on maths, otherwise im all coool

horseypie 08-08-2009 01:20 AM

thats a lot of majors
sounds like a shitload of work :(

rasputin 08-08-2009 01:22 AM

nah it's not that much, the double degree goes for 4.5 years without any overloading, and i can fit a double major into each degree pretty easily, so im not actually doing any more work than normal. i just get less/no electives.

plus arts degrees are a joke

what year are you?

horseypie 08-08-2009 01:24 AM

ahh yeah thats right. i forgot arts degrees get shitloads of electives or something
im 2nd year pretty much, what are you?

rasputin 08-08-2009 01:26 AM

im in third year now, got a 3 semesters to do after this one finishes. what engineering are you doing?

horseypie 08-08-2009 01:28 AM

ah nice. im doing mechanical, its pretty good. i work part time and uni part time so i only do three subjects a sem instead of four. so i have another 4 years after this one

rasputin 08-08-2009 01:29 AM

3 units is still quite a bit, at UWA that's still considered full time. what are you doing besides uni?

Aaron 08-08-2009 02:35 AM

That's actually pretty nice once it all kicks off, the tinges of vocals are nice for sure.

Aaron 08-09-2009 06:42 AM

 That's awesomely bad luck @ FML

Thanks Gas. You likey? :)

gaslight 08-09-2009 06:44 AM

Yeah I like the feel of it, sounds are nice and the hints of vocals bring out a whole lot in it. :thumb:.

Aaron 08-09-2009 06:46 AM

:) :) :)

Working on mixing this amazing track of Phils. Crazy post-rock stuff. You'll dig it.

gaslight 08-09-2009 06:50 AM

Nice man.

Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to do some vocal work :p.

Aaron 08-09-2009 06:55 AM

Haha. What did you think of my awful falsetto? [awful being it was intentionally awkward]

gaslight 08-09-2009 06:56 AM

Is that the intro bit before the song kicks in?

Aaron 08-09-2009 07:13 AM

Yeah man.

gaslight 08-09-2009 07:14 AM

Unsettling :p.

Aaron 08-09-2009 07:16 AM

nevertoolate 08-10-2009 07:06 PM

gaslight 08-10-2009 09:26 PM

Brutal Aes. When I was younger I managed an awkward foot/ankle fracture combo.

sgrevs 08-10-2009 11:24 PM

I broke my toe about 4 years ago and had to go to Big Day Out on crutches and with massive steel-capped boots on.
