Im back, What did I miss?

I'm almost done with my new song ... sounding pretty cool IMO so far, I jsut need to record the bass. (It's an extremely Guitar-oriented song though...)

hey everyone

the timing for "teen town" is a biznatch. ive already learned the riffs, but i find the timeing is incredibly hard. thats the real catcher, yes sir.

BTW im covering it for the bass cover comp.

And Jazzfunkboy, The timing is tough but once you get it the song becomes very easy and somewhat natural.

yeah, i noticed the natural thing. i thought it would be crazy insane to be able to play it, but its not (it would be challenging to a beginner though). i get the timing of the riffs themeselves, its the time between the riffs thats hard (timing when to play the next one). BUT I SHALL GET IT!

the thing that i actually am surprised i understood was all the theory involved. even why he chose what chords to play in and why (the whole song is like a big thirteenth chord). many of his lines are symmetrical to each other, accenting the 5th and 6th (or thirteenth). the song is literally perfect.

And yes I made it 1000 posts!!! Although I really don't know why I'm so happy, it only means I waste way too much time in here...but it's just that it's so addictive...can't really stop....

I have a friend who plays Saxaphone so I had him do the sax/horn part to help me narrow it down.

Yep, I'm a lawyer but mopst of our clients are from the US, so every now and then I have to translate some legal documents, which is really boring. The good thing is that I can bill tons of hours, and it doesn't take too much brain power. :D
