I would have done nothing because if you hadn't reported it, I wouldn't have seen it. I wasn't on the computer, I sat down for a minute, saw there was a post in the thread and then took action against his post. If you wouldn't have answered him, you're right: he probably would have kept posting it. The difference? I wouldn't have banned you as well as him. It was a ten to fifteen minute gap from when you took his bait and when you reported him. It's really not my fault that you can't be bothered waiting a few minutes. Believe it or not, we're not all glued to our computers.
