New song sounds awesome, the vocals improved and sound a bit less buried and just better performed overall.
Yeah, I think Blake has really come into his own vocal style, and it sounds amazing. The production as a whole is a lot clearer. God damn, June is a long way away for the full length. The MCD is released April 24th I think...

Abbath gained some weight since 2002, but Horgh has always been quite on the chubby side.

I've yet to check out Nachmystium's other stuff. The new song is...interesting...

I'll find you a link for Instinct: Decay or upload it myself and post it on your last.fm. Deal?

Check out my review for it too. I think I did it justice...

Even worse, he cancelled many tour dates last minute throughout North America and Europe when they were supposed to play with GBK, he realized it would be bad for their reputation to play with such a bad racist band and would look bad for them because they needed a nice good and clean reputation to sign to Century Media. Total display of rock star money hungry jewish poser faggotry.

Blake and Nachtmystium as a collective want nothing to do with the label "Black Metal" nowadays and they're working hard to shed that label. I respect him. He does what he feels is right for the band without caring what others think of it. I'm sure most of their fans would love to have them carry on their 'metal' image, but they're becoming less and less metal and more experimental with every son released.
Someone tell me how he's a poser. All I know about Nargaroth is that they have an album called Black Metal Ist Kreig that everyone seems to make references too.
Well, for one Kanwulf says he knew and was in contact with Varg and Dead, and Varg says he never heard of Kanwulf. Then he also says the band formed in the early 90s when in fact it was formed in 1996. All this just so he can appear true and say "**** off nowadays black metal".

i am the robots 02-18-2008 04:25 PM

1996 is the early 90s

I don't care, what does that have to do with anything, their music has always sucked despite what they want to call it. It doesn't change the fact what they did is pathetic no matter what way you look at it.

Opinions, etc.

Cancelling that tour was lame, but I still like them. Whatever, it has nothing to do with their music.

DERSIEGDERKRIEGDERKAMPF 02-18-2008 04:38 PM

I never said it had anything to do with the music but it has everything to do with Blake being a pathetic poser. Im looking forward to having a laugh at those clowns live.

i am the robots 02-18-2008 04:42 PM

theres this local metalcore band whos guitarist used to wear girlpants and tight shirts all the time and now he wears gymxshorts and flat brims all the time

blake is the 'black metal' equivalent

He can't be a poser if he doesn't want to be associated with the black metal scene.

What would he be posing as?

Are gym shorts really considered xcorex? I wear gym shorts alot during the spring/summer -_-

and yeah, that Nachtmystium album is quite good but it didn't hit me very hard. I need to listen to it more to let it sink in.
He can't be a poser if he doesn't want to be associated with the black metal scene.

If he didn't want to be associated with the black metal scene he wouldn't be signing black metal bands to his label and do split releases with black metal bands while playing shows with black metal bands or even playing in a band with other black metal musicians. He can make all the faggy statements he wants about not being associated with black metal but they do not mean ****.

I don't know exactly when this whole anti-black metal started with him. The tour was to take in early 06 which was before their latest album was released and the stuff I heard prior to the new one sure seemed like they were trying to be black metal. What makes him a poser is the fact that a) he obviously knew what GBK was all along and b) cancelling the tour because they were going to sign to a major label and it would look bad for them. He pretends to be into black metal but when the money and the offers come around he shows his true intentions. It is quite convenient for them to make the switch and try to distance themselves from black metal and play a more accessible sound when they sign to Century Media.
