Excepting take no prisoners and Poison was the cure...

Father_Jack 01-21-2006 02:03 PM

Hey does anyone have the remastered Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? album. I would like to see what they did with it, coz I have all the other Pre-Countdown album remasters, and they are OK with some exceptions.

So anyone willing to upload and send me it? Cheers :D

I'm not a thrash fan, and that's too thrashy a song for what I like.

Fair enough then. Right now its my favourite Megadeth song. I wish it could play it, but it's too fast.

Sweet i just bought Greatest Hits Back to The Start.

On to two hours of awesomeness

Jev 01-21-2006 06:07 PM

The DVD with that was pretty disappointing. You couldn't hear Marty.

BLS_Infernus 01-21-2006 06:22 PM

I think Marty is doinf better after he got out of Megadeth. Thrash-ish type metal isn't the place for a guitarist with the skill of Marty. Jazz is far better for what he can do and I'm glad he's into that now but I miss his solos in Megadeth.

Jev 01-21-2006 06:24 PM

I thought he was into J-Pop now.

BLS_Infernus 01-21-2006 06:27 PM

Jazz pop, still has jazz in it but it's a much better place for him but I think shred guitar (Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Satriani, etc.) would be a much better and more intertaining place for him.

Jev 01-21-2006 06:28 PM

I always thought J-Pop was Japanese Pop...

BLS_Infernus 01-21-2006 06:31 PM

I've heard that it was Jazz-Pop and that it was Jap.-Pop many times...I've seen him on Jap. Metal TV shows with Paul Gilbert playing a blue Schecter. I'm thinking that it has to be Jazz-Pop because I wouldn't see metal being pop music in Jap

vashts80 01-21-2006 07:38 PM

J-Pop = Japanese Pop Music. AKA the Japanese equivalents of Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson, etc.

That's the style that Friedman wanted on Risk, and they experiented with it, but Friedman left after Dave said that they were going back to metal on TWNAH.

Friedman said that he got tired of being on auto-pilot every night for so long, writing the songs in that same metal formula, and he basically just grew tired of the style.

blue3 01-22-2006 04:42 AM

No, I haven't tried that one. I can't even down pick Holy Wars so I doubt I can down pick IMDH.

Sph 01-22-2006 05:00 AM

I can almost get it down. Not quite.
