What kinda camera though?

coffee_spiders 03-12-2007 02:52 PM

I liked that video. Just the way he holds the sticks..it's different to how my teacher told me to hold mine, which could explain why my wrists hurt. >_<

the_pure_drummer 03-12-2007 02:54 PM

hahahahahahahahah that was ****ing brilliant

Josiah 03-12-2007 02:55 PM

^that's not good bro! find a new teacher...

Drum Phil 03-12-2007 02:59 PM

I still process my images. Just i have a lot more problems to overcome.

I use a digital SLR which im hoping to add some bellows to.

Josiah 03-12-2007 03:01 PM

ya, I know too with a good digi backplane i could use all my lenses and have my good shots printed pretty cheap.. haha i have no idea why i cling to such an inefficient method haha

wouldn't mind a hybrid though!

..then again one of those digi's that makes a highend drumset look like petty change would be cool to have.

well, you can always just not have a teacher, wich is far better then a bad one.

it's too hard for me to evaluate your grip, pictures would help but even then..

the best thing you can do, is mimic, cause humans are amazing at it. check out the dom's cyber lessons at vicfirth.com

study the grip ones, and the ones with jim chapin. it's free, and the master himself!! rewind that video 100 times and sit there with a pad until you are mirroring in exactness what they do.

then you know, your grip will be awesome.

Berk 03-12-2007 03:15 PM

Hey gice.

My shitty dog chewed my compute power cord. It no work anymore =)

Thats traditional grip. Not really used in much except jazz and stuff these days.

I find it lacks power in the back beat.

I develop and print my own shots :)

I know what you mean about the pricey digis.

Hasselblad digital medium format.

$14000 and thats JUST a medium format. Digital Large formats can go for quadruple that.

haha seriouslly, one of those would be just a dream to play with...

Drum Phil 03-12-2007 03:26 PM

Im looking at getting some bellows (like on large formats) for my camera so i can take proper architechtural stuff without the building tapering.

It'll make my camera look funny too.

im good at wearing pants, most of the time, but sometimes im not. i like angry butsex with horses, and cows, once a man caught me and i stabbed him. so then i had to hide his body, but i had cowshlt on my penls. the moral of the story is have good grip or you get cowshit on your penls.

the_pure_drummer 03-12-2007 03:37 PM

Ill bear that in mind next time im having angry butt sex with my next horse.

They're awesome cameras for the price. Theres really not much difference between the 350 and the 400 minus a slight pixel increase.
what do they do?
350's? They're a type of camera.

Berk 03-12-2007 03:55 PM
