the first paragraph, i see why you would think that but the fact that the armed forces are dying in such numbers atm has struck a chord, rightly so. there was a saying when i was in there that "if you can't take a joke you shoudln't have joined" and we knew we were there to be fucked about. that's all part of the job and while it wasn't fun you just got on with it. it was fair enough back then when all we did was ponce around in sunnier places doing the odd exercise and shooting the odd drug smuggler, it's all a bit more serious these days. the lads themselves won't complain (much) but families and opposition politicians will.

So, after the bass purchase I realised I needed more space for guitars.

So I bought one of those 9-guitar Warwick rockstand guitar racks. Thansk to it, I can now safely store all of my guitars in a SMALLER and more efficient space than before.

What's a good guitar brand/model of steel stringed acoustic that plays pretty easy and much more like an electric... if there is any more particular than others... i have an acoustic here but its almost feels unplayable its pretty annoying

If you want an acoustic that doesn't sound like shit, put some heavier strings on your electrics and man up, you pussies. Light strings and thin necks are two factors you want nowhere near your acoustic tone. They will ruin it and you'll have a muddy bass with tinny highs and no sustain.

i just use 10's on my acoustics and they sound lovely, one's a takamine EAN40C and the other's a gibbo advanced acoustic so you don't quite need to spill blood to get a good tone! but take your pick of guitars around the same price as the yamaha apx's, they're all decent.

fuck this. i mean there are some that probably feel that way, but the lower end ones (more affordable, that is) feel and sound like shit. opinion of course but hey, my dad has an old style ovation i guess they dont make anymore and that one sounds the best out of most ovations ive ever heard but it definately does NOT play like an electric in any way.

for that i would suggest carvin acoustics but thats based solely on descriptions from the designers and such. ive never played one but if theyre descriptions are right then itll feel like an electric and sound like an acoustic
