best kayo dot album by far @ dude listenin to dowsing
At first I never really liked that one as much, but I loved Choirs. But it seems every time I listen to it now, I like Dowsing a bit more and more.

And I'm still listening to United Nations, but just on their myspace. 11 minutes till the album's done downloading.

Check 'em out if you like Glassjaw/Thursday/Converge/The Number 12 Looks Like You, I guess (there are members from those bands in United Nations).

oh lord, that's in my top 5 of all time.

also Correction, are you sure it's the hardest? I swear Blue Lambency Downward is probably their hardest to get into

Current 93 - All the Pretty Little Horses
also Correction, are you sure it's the hardest? I swear Blue Lambency Downward is probably their hardest to get into
well, it was hardest for me to get into. blue lambency downward was a bit easier for me cause of the shorter song lengths, mainly, even though the music was still pretty out there. plus, bld's their worst album anyways.

also current 93 ftw

Txus 10-14-2008 07:51 PM

BLD is an easy listen imo.

And TEOES is not my favorite Neurosis, but it's like my 3rd favorite probably. Through Silver in Blood is their best imo and then Times of Grace

masscows 10-14-2008 07:52 PM

Through Silver in Blood is really ****ing good, I just bought that this past weekend

Correction 10-14-2008 07:53 PM

older neurosis > newer neurosis

Txus 10-14-2008 07:53 PM

I agree with both statements above me.

o/ o/

SnackaryBinx 10-14-2008 07:55 PM

I like TEOES then TSIB then GTTR

masscows 10-14-2008 07:56 PM

Get Times of Grace and A Sun That Never Sets NOW.

RouteOne 10-14-2008 08:11 PM

times of grace is my favorite Neurosis I think

SnackaryBinx 10-14-2008 08:12 PM

Times of Grace is even more amazing when you run it side by side with Grace by Tribes of Neurot.

Txus 10-14-2008 08:13 PM

Sometimes I like Times a bit more than TSIB

both are so ****ing good

Random but, ron are you still looking for that Jacob Bannon ep or whatever?

Funny:

I'm listening to Norma Jean on my iPod mini speaker thing and an inmate comes over and leans over and starts listening. I say "Can I help you sir?" and he says "I'm wondering where all this goth music is coming from." I told him that it wasn't Goth music in a "you're a complete retard" tone. He asked what it was. I said metal, just to be general, cause I'm not gonna be like "noisecore!!" or something gay. He says "oh like Slipknot?" I said "No, not like Slipknot." He then walked away. Retard.
