I like this avatar though.

This song is pissing me off. I love his voice in it, but, it's only playing through the right speakers. Fockin hell, I'll have to fix that.

Tyler 01-09-2006 12:00 PM

Tastes Like Chicken is a great magazine too. They have an on-going debate concerning whether dogs have lips or not.

I think they do.

Haha, sure... seeya man.

Oh yeah, I GET TO SEE ANTHRAX TOMMORROW!

gmoneyguy 01-09-2006 12:28 PM

I just got out of school. I hate the first week or so of a semester the parking lot is always jammed. After the first week or two, people start to drop out and I dont have to spend forever trying to find a decent spot.

Lord Abortion 01-09-2006 12:29 PM

Nice, they were excellent when I saw them, they had a reduced set because of the festival situation, but it was basically a greatest hits set, the singalong to Antisocial was awesome.

NP-Judas Priest-leather rebel

i am the robots 01-09-2006 12:31 PM

That sounds pretty sweet, I'm really glad Manntis is opening, but it's quite unfortunate that I have to stand through another horid God Forbid set to get to the gold (same thing happened when I went to see Meshuggah).

gmoneyguy 01-09-2006 01:01 PM

I just downloaded Last.fm

Np D4L - Shake That Laffy Taffy

so?

NP: Behemoth - The Nephilim Rising

Demigod has to be one of the best albums of '05 (or was it '04...?). I'm getting Zos Kia Cultus tomorrow, which I'm really excited about, as well as a Cryptopsy and Opeth.

Anyone make any recent CD purchases? If so, what? And how did you like it?

gmoneyguy 01-09-2006 01:42 PM
so?
So you're a piece of shit.

Shattered_Future 01-09-2006 01:47 PM

My latest was The Damnation Game by Symphony X, which has the potential to depress anyone who plays bass, guitar, drums, keyboard, or sings, all in the time period of 1 song.

gmoneyguy 01-09-2006 01:50 PM

I honestly cant remember the last CD I bought

Mustainekilsemos 01-09-2006 01:52 PM

Last CD i bought was... uh... ... Oh Hotel California by the Eagles

NP Hotel California - The Eagles

Lord Abortion 01-09-2006 01:52 PM

The last I bought in an actual shop was Morbid angel-blessed are the sick

Good album, alot of strange, mystical instrumental passages

NP-Dream Theater- Losing time/grand finale

Mustainekilsemos 01-09-2006 01:54 PM

That's a good album

DT sucks IMO

MidnightRider 01-09-2006 01:58 PM
I just downloaded Last.fm
What's the deal with that, does it just work with media player and count the number of songs from each band you've listened to?

And DT rocks.

Lord Abortion 01-09-2006 01:58 PM

Dude, that's just...wrong.

Even if you don't like the music, the technical skill of the band is incredible.

GenuineImitation 01-09-2006 02:21 PM

The last cd I bought was Opeth's Blackwater Park. My friend's dog destroyed my original copy.

DT rule. I was sick today and listened to all of Images & Words, 6 Degrees of Inner Turbulence and Awake. They never bore me.

Shattered_Future 01-09-2006 02:22 PM

Yea, but I've noticed the band isn't that good at writing songs...

Now, take Symphony X. Every bit as technical as DT, better singer IMO, and they write some absolutely astonishing music.

MidnightRider 01-09-2006 02:26 PM
Yea, but I've noticed the band isn't that good at writing songs...
Some of their lyrics are a little cliche'd, but they're still a great band.
