I really hope that Royce Mitchell III googles his name and finds this discussion. I wonder what his reaction would be?
Surprise at someone atcually talking about him  and then anger, pure satanic anger

neal_672 03-16-2005 11:36 AM

Where is my name from and who is Mitchell Royce?

PaulR 03-16-2005 11:37 AM

http://hellogoodbye.net/

It might explain.

If not. Its the title of their EP.

fatbandit 03-16-2005 12:36 PM

Anybody fancy doing me an essay about The Strange Case of Mr Jekyll and Mr Hyde?

Its pronounced Jee-kill by the way!

Well, you're getting warm there. Now tell me which one, who Mitchell Royce is and why you should worship the fucking hell out of Warren Ellis by setting up stakes, spelling out his name, upon which you will have nailed live, pink-stained bunnies, in your front yard.

Fernandes Power 03-16-2005 12:38 PM

Hi Casual.

Spider Jerusalem spends the year in St. Lucia. While there, he is confonted by the French Secret Service assassination device that has persued him for several years. He cuts off its head and allows Mad Georgiou to **** it in the stump-circuits before dumping it in the water. (T12)

Anti-Trauma Torso Wraps go out of style. (T4)

The Analysis Ethics Commitee bars Lorraine Krosh from doing anything but teaching. (T5)

Spider forgets his name for three days in Budapest. (T51)

Spider induces the suicide of several Prague politicians by telephone. The incident is believed to be apocryphal, but Mitchell Royce knows what happened. (T2, T5)

Spider and Royce escape from Prague in a car full of transsexual temple whores from the Mongolian Church of Howling Genitals. Royce is suffering delusions as the result of a venereal ergot infection. (T32)

The "Glaswegian Kiss" credit card company is created as a front for a crack-baby smuggling operation in Aberdeen. Spider Jerusalem is a card-holder. (T11)

Indira Ataturk is hired as Spider's new assistant. She accompanies him to Miss Jones' Theater. The managers of the establishment use signal floods to manipulate the libidos of their clientele, setting off the signal while Indira and Spider are present. Spider knows about the signal flood, wearing a mood controller and a nervous system buffer to neutralize the signal's effects. Indira is caught unaware, and proceeds to have sex with everyone in the room. A tape is made of her actions and sold for major profits by the managers. Indira becomes famous, and her parents refuse to speak to her ever again. (T12)

Waving and Drowning by Spider Jerusalem is published. (T16)
At some point before Spider suffers the breakdown.

fatbandit 03-16-2005 12:39 PM

If you didn't see already, I answered your family guy question, the guy is dennis miller and he says:

I don't wanna go on a RANT here but America's foreign policy makes about as much sense as Beowolf having sex with Robert Fulton at the first Battle of Antetum. I mean when a neo-conservative defenstrates it's like Raskalnakov filibuster dioxymonohydrostinate.

Mitchell Royce 03-16-2005 12:42 PM

Not too shabby kili, but that really doesn't answer anything. Mitchell Royce is the chain-smoking editor of Spider Jerusalem in the comic Transmetropolitan.
Probably my favourite comic ever, I even got my non-geek friends addicted to it.

fatbandit 03-16-2005 12:43 PM

Yeh, I saw, cheers! I hope its waht the guy is looking for. You get a fatbandit point. Not quite a Gav point... :upset:

fatbandit 03-16-2005 12:44 PM

How is any comic better than Deadpool? :o

Nobody else beats the Rhino by shrinking him, putting him on a keychain and flushing him down the toilet.

Sorry ;)

But that was the phrase were the name was in, looked it up with google..

I may check out that comic one day.. although I am not a great fan of comic books. Only Asterix & Obelix (those two Roman-defeating guys) and Donald Duck etc :thumb:

0mgZ!!!
Casualties iz so k00l!

Actually, I don't mind them, can get rather repetitive though.
You're in Toronto, are you going to see them in April? I think that's when they're playing here.

And you say you like punk, you better like the awesome local bands that are/used to be around, Riot99, Action, King Size Braces, Murdersquad, The Downbelows, Rebels With A Cause. The Black Donnellys, Dayglo Abortions, etc...

neal_672 03-16-2005 01:05 PM

Well i'm supposed to be doing English homework, i have all the relevant information, just i have no idea what the question is.... bollocks....

fatbandit 03-16-2005 01:07 PM

Neal, I feel exactly the same way about my Jekyll and Hyde work. It doesn't help that I'm also doing Macbeth at this moment in time, plus after that finishing my Media piece. *Then* I can do Jekyll and Hyde. Its all in for Friday...

neal_672 03-16-2005 01:11 PM

Well you see the thing is it's not that i can't do it, it's just that not knowing what the question is it'd be hard, i may just write a piece on all of the 15 texts on the sheet and just use that....

Spaceman Spiff 03-16-2005 01:11 PM

Neal, did you ever check out those bands I told you to?
The Decemberists and Neutral Milk Hotel. :thumb:

neal_672 03-16-2005 01:12 PM

Oops no, completely forgot, as soon as i'm through with this homework i'll do it :thumb:

PaulR 03-16-2005 01:20 PM

Hey guys, whats going on?

neal_672 03-16-2005 01:25 PM

Not much, i don't know the question for ym english homework and that's pretty much it :upset:

PaulR 03-16-2005 01:26 PM

Whats it about? They always seem to have pretty similar questions on every exam.

neal_672 03-16-2005 01:27 PM

It's a Frameworks piece i could do it if i knew which pieces i was supposed to be comparing...
