did you guys like the new Suffocation? I thought it was pretty good even though I don't like much of the music from the reformed '90's death metal bands.

Its not a far drive to Toronto, my friend! :p Im sure you could find a show closer than that too.

I don't know, it just seemed bland to me. I wasn't a fan of the vocals, but the music wasn't anything to complain about.

In the end it really wasn't interesting enough for me to enjoy.

The vocals were awesome, wtf mang.

Suffocations S/T is pretty good, I really liked Souls To Deny though.

Not a fan of their older material, or their vocalist.

I dunno. I was directly comparing them to the older Suffocation style which I prefer immensely. Just a personal preference I suppose.

And anyways, it should be painfully obvious by now that our taste in vocals are quite divergent.

Suffocation's singer is elite live.

Their drummer is the most elite part of the band imo

The entire band is elite. I'm just saying that their singer was one of the most impressive live vocalists I've ever heard. Sooooo low.

The old bass player was pretty sick as well.

They're old bass player was nothing short of amazing.

Yeah, nothing against the new one, but he just doesn't add much to the music.

He's hot though.

So I have come to the conclusion that Master pretty weak for a Paul Masvidal band.

I still only have the self-titled, but it's fricking sweet.

OTSDGCM was really bland for me at first but i started to get into it once i got past the hardass-sounding vocals
but yeah i will agree master is the worst band i've heard PM involved in, but he was still pretty damn good for an 18 y/o
