Songs To Leave and Springtime Depression are great. The approach on the new stuff isn't really my thing. The clean vocals seem displaced. |

You got that right. I'm eagerly awaiting Protest the Hero's new album. |

I'm sure you are. I heard that they changed the release date, too bad. |

It wasn't really anything to do with them, though, they finished recording it in August. I reckon it has something to do with mastering or pressing. |
So somehow I posted the wrong week last night, lel...
1 As Cities Burn 115 2 Orchid 62 3 Skycamefalling 32 4 Ampere 26 4 Hot Cross 26 6 The Black Dahlia Murder 20 7 See You Next Tuesday 19 8 Yaphet Kotto 16 9 Spazz 10 10 Knights Of The Abyss 9 KOTA was for a review, goddamn that band is bland. Otherwise, I think that was a pretty good week. |

It's always those damn record labels. I want it now, damnit! |
I'm lucking in knowing that I'll hear it early, either as a result of a review copy, the band letting me hear it or downloading a leak (last resort, though). I know I'll buy a hardcopy anyways, I mean, I have both pressings of A Calculated Use of Sound as well as their Search for the Truth 7".
|
And I'll probably be having a hard time finding a copy here at all. Kezia was a bitch to get ahold of.

haha thats cool
i really like em too bad i never got to see them live when i lived up there :( |
My brother's band is gonna be playing with them live on Saturday. I think it's funny how they've been around since 1999 and have only released 2 EP's. Coy's a really nice guy, but he barely listens to any metal music at all
