Drum Phil 09-14-2005 11:48 AM

Well ive e-mailed a drum shop here about orderin a sonor 3005 in the following sizes:

22" bass drum (X2)
12" Rack tom
14" Mounted floor tom
16" Floor tom
14" snare

Cant decide between black sparkle and natural maple though

RushHourSoul 09-14-2005 12:27 PM

I'd say natural maple, but i'm sure either finish will be great. Good drum sizes too.

Arcturus 09-14-2005 12:52 PM

Hey DBJ can you ban Josiah or something? I can't post a thread without him cussing me out.

He is harmless, and quite funny. Dont take the internet to heart.

Voodoo Rabbit 09-14-2005 01:05 PM

It's small and green and sits on your head very well...

Coma Divine 09-14-2005 01:11 PM

Just ignore him. Its easier than banning.

We need more of them

Futuro 09-14-2005 03:11 PM
We need more of them
Yeah i wouldnt mind seeing prog rock get more popular. With Porcupine trees lastest release i think they will help. But the first album i reccomend people trying to get into Prog Rock music is Moving Pictures.

Double Bass Jim 09-14-2005 03:23 PM

Right on man, great album to start with.

Jezen 09-14-2005 03:36 PM

haha, I would be kind of curios to taste pepper spray..... but I wouldn't i'm not THAT stupid.

So school sucked again. I had to get up at 630 to go to school early for jazz band. Then 3rd block felt like last block becuase I had been at school for so much longer, ironicly it was band.

gettin up at 6:30 is a luxery during the week for me. i normally have to get up at 6 just to be able to get out of bed by 6:15 so i can be ready to leave by 6:40. it sucks.

and i have (accidentally) tasted pepper spray, you dont want to do that. it burns like a mother.

rockindrummer 09-14-2005 05:16 PM

^ That sucks man, why do you have to leave so early? I'm assuming work.

6:30 is early for me because I normally get up at 7:30 on weekdays to beable to get to school on time for 8:45.

Ya I bet, that's why I said I wouldn't taste it because I bet it burns like a mother.

nope, school here starts at 8 and i walk with a bunch of people. we leave at about 7 and stop at the park for 10-20 min before to hang out. we get to school right as they open the doors to start going to our lockers and stuff.

and to say some phobia's of mine(missed it on page 309), spiders are the big one. clowns arent too bad, but theyre still kind of freaky. bees seem to like me ever sence i picked one out of my hair back in like '97 or something. it flew into my hair and landed upside down. i thought it was a leaf, but nope, bee.

and the dumbest thing i have ever heard someone say about a fear, ranch dressing. yeah, he was probably high when he said it, but he said it.

thats pretty much it.

Win A Rabbit 09-14-2005 05:41 PM

man, incase anyone's been following, you'd know my english class is a total joke. and here's some more proof to back it up. today we stacked pard for half an hour to see what group of 4 people could get the highest stack. eventually we got second place with a 2 level pyramid, 6.5" high. the winner was 6.75" high. in english class. then she got people who knew card tricks to show the rest of the class.

well i had a great idea today when i was playing drums... "i have a spare ride cymbal with no stand, where can i mount it? that's right! my hi-hat stand." i put it under my hi-hat. and i put my little self-modified "timbale" on my l-rods holding my toms. then i used my marching snare, put it on my spare stand which i no longer need because i used to use it for the timbale, and put the marching snare to my left side. so i've got a whole "snare/ride/hats" combo just on my left side. here's a pic...

^ ..... cool? I sorta get it the writing part was confusing but the pic helped.
