Hey Zappa, did you get that link I sent you about the Afrika Bambaataa interview? I thought you'd be interested.

Iai 03-02-2005 04:34 PM

See link above.

If anyone ever wanted proof that I am merely a less funny version of YDLoad, click this link.

I did. I only skimmed it, because that much writing on a computer screen tends to make my eyes hurt. It was interesting, though. Great picture at the top, too!

Just had a look at that link, now I know why Patrick Moore was associated with xylophones. I always played that band name game at school although the only ones I can remember arent very good. yourcodenameis:celia. and (strange how there was a flintstone one on there too) Fred Flintstone Smiles at Me From Television. I was young ok!

Walking through the hall at school today, I saw an unbelievably good-looking, entirely un-gothic girl wearing a shirt featuring the cover of the album The Queen is Dead by The Smiths.

I thought that was neat.

I read that some time late last year, and yeah, it was pretty good. I didn't think the story was particularly amazing (don't think it was really trying to be), but the style it was written in was somewhat unique, which kept me interested and reading it.

How about some of that juicy +++ rep of yours? I NEED rep. I was thinking of a line to go with the picture, how about "looky looky"? As in "looky looky ive got hooky", oh how could people dislike that film?

A Goonie 03-02-2005 06:29 PM

what's the point of rep if the system is gonna go away soon

leiferikson 03-02-2005 06:44 PM

I dont really want rep. Why is it going though? I dont understand why they take away stuff here, whered the search function go?

theredwonder 03-02-2005 06:49 PM

I believe the search function is down because of the crash.

If they were to take the rep system off i assume it would be due to the constant abuse it suffers.

leiferikson 03-02-2005 06:56 PM

just in case you havent realised you're 2 posts off 3000! I think you should wait a little while and get the 8000 post on this thread at the same time then maybe a genie will appear from your computer or something

That is indeed a fabulous book.

Have you read "Curious Incident of the WMD's in Iraq"? I think that's what it's called anyway. It's pretty funny.

leiferikson 03-03-2005 08:32 AM

Did you know that in Hook the voice of the captain on the plane that the Banning family take to get to england is none other than Captain Hook!

Wanker 03-03-2005 11:30 AM

leiferikson 03-03-2005 11:40 AM

And did you know that the actor who played Toodles (the old man lost boy who lost his marbles) went on to direct several hardcore **** films before being arrested for defecating on the Lincoln memorial?

Zmev 03-03-2005 12:00 PM
