Then it starts snowing and a half hour later afternoon classes get cancelled. I get a call from my friend who's bass player I am filling in for tomorrow. He is out early and wants to practice. Of course, I cannot use my car in the snow because I do not own it. Technically my dad owns it. So it killed my day because I had many plans today all hinging on the fact that I could get there. So I figure, "alright, I will cut off all of my plans except this band practice that I have to do. I'll ask my mother to drive me, it is only 5 minutes away." My mother decides that she is not driving in the snow at all. So I have done nothing all day now.

EDIT: I'm am not not appreciating the snow. I am depreciating it.
