Wasn't really trying to prove you wrong or anything, just heeding a warning 'cause I came close to that once and I'm glad I cut it down.
ALSO NEW WAKING THE CADAVER MAPPY IS IT GOOD? I HEARD IT WAS BRUTAL SLAM GORE, TRUE? |
i'm not sure if there's room for two jeff buckley avatars in R&M

hbp doesnt' deserve to listen to Jeff Buckley so whatever.
Why would I want to listen to THE HIGHEST RATED ALBUM IN SPUTNIKSVILLE? |
His is way better than yours tbh http://fredfred.net/skriker/images/fred/music/jeff_buckley/still_amazinggrace.jpg I think that's it. @rattle |
i went to google and typed jeff buckley, grabbed the first Grace pic i saw, and uploaded it. i get 0 points for effort.
on his pic i almost cant even tell that's him. it's the light/angle i guess. my paul masvidal/jason gobel avatar was way too small. :(
Why would I want to listen to THE HIGHEST RATED ALBUM IN SPUTNIKSVILLE?
i wanted to see what all the buzz was about so i got it from the library a few months back. its worth the effort.
hey all.....any other death metal fans/jeff buckley fanboys in here? **** i listen to: Morbid Angel Nile Meshuggah Jeff Buckley Malevolent Creation Nevermore Pain Of Salvation Cannibal Corpse Origin Exhumed Jeff Buckley is god.
/edited to suit the discussion of the last page. my bad. |
So I really like this Depresy that Poofy reccomended a few pages back. Has anyone else listened to it?
Yeah, its good stuff. The intro to Lunar Spell is so epic sounding. <3 |
Yeah, its good stuff. The intro to Lunar Spell is so epic sounding.
<3
Everything is so epic sounding, tbh. It kinda took me by surprise. The riffs are absolutely crushing and the symphonic elements are used very tastefully to where they don't sound cheesy/gay or anything. |
Yeah, I was very hesitant at first when I found out they had keyboards in there. I thought it would turn out either to be like a slightly heavier Therion or a slightly less poopty Faceless, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was neither and waaaaaaayyyy better and more unique than I thought.
its yummy |
where do I check these guys out? they sound interesting.

|
Its not letting me play it...passworded crap.

The password is on the blog page you know. :-/
The password is on the blog page you know. :-/
Maybe think about that?
Hey good idea. Im not great with this whole music pirating craze. |
quick everyone gather around for a group hug!
:] What's everyone's opinion on Brodequin? |
And Angmar, it wasnt on the page I got it from.
Good job smart-***! |
check the page again, and if you still can't find it either post in their shoutbox or email whoever runs the blog for the pass.
|
Or try the link to the blog, like just the www.blognamehere.com
|
from the link you gave me earlier...its the 4th link down and idk man it isnt there.
and I wasnt really into that "Brodequin"...dug the music but the vox are horrible. |
All archived files are protected by a password. All rar passwords are : www.forevermetal.net
there you go and Brodequin's vocals are like pretty much any other Brutal DM band really. I don't really pay attention to them, but their riffs tend to have a really killer groove/rythm/whatever. Spinning In Agony is a good example. |
I'm gonna check them out then.
|
not death, but I ****ing love the drumming in this vid
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Q7-pbUdx5U&feature=related |
Yeah, Today Is The Day owns.
|
Again, music was cool, vox werent.
edit: Depresy is pretty freaking sweet Poofs. Thanks |
I can see not being into their vocals, but I think they fit perfect.
|
They do, but they also make me want to scrape my nails acrossed a chalk board
|
The vocals are really frustrating, yes.

i'm not really sure how Therion could be any heavier tbh. unless they tuned down like KoRn.
not death, but I ****ing love the drumming in this vid
i cant watch because im in school right now but some of the best drumming i've seen is in the video of Morgan Agren with the Meshuggah guitarist doing an instrumental medley. |
I dunno if you're being sarcastic, but Lepaca Kliffoth and Beyond Sanctorum could both be heavier (they're the two albums with prominent keyboards and death metal elements).
|
i've only heard BS out of those two you mentioned. i guess you're right, it probably could be but Of Darkness... i don't really think could.
fayle at lolz
nah just observation. jeff in the death thread. |
Yeah, but Poofy was talkin' about being worried the keyboards would be like a slightly heavier Therion, and Of Darkness doesn't really have keyboards much, from memory.
|
Yeah, Today Is The Day owns.
Yes they do. I just got into them. |
Yeah, but Poofy was talkin' about being worried the keyboards would be like a slightly heavier Therion, and Of Darkness doesn't really have keyboards much, from memory.
my bad. i'm kind of a Therion noob i've only listened to both BS and OD like twice. but they both deserve more of my time. Time Shall Tell is the only other one i've heard and it's on par with those two imo. |
Later Therion is way better than early.
|
Later Therion isn't death metal or death metal influenced anymore though. But yeah, Therion did get even better.
