I stay away from that thread. I saw some peopl hating Cradle of Filth too, who I love. If I go in I'll just get pissed off beyond belief, so my time here is best spent away from it.

I just couldn't help myself. Too frustrating. I actually put in an entry on Black Sabbath. It's odd how no one's closed the thread yet. That and the ripoff thread.

I don't like Black Sabbath. I think they're overrated and untalented. I do realize they were one of the first to pioneer heavy music, but that doesn't change what their music is.

I like some Black Sabbath, but I dislike Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.

I get the disliking Judas Priest part (they were decent, but not something I'd listen to again and again) but how can you not like Maiden? Great riffing throughout that band.

I hate Sabbath, bores the hell out of me, even live I couldn't stand it. Maiden is one of my favorite bands, Priest I think is pretty bad besides Painkiller which was ace.

I don't know, they just fail to interest me.

Maiden bore me too, along with Priest. Neither of them have any qualities of great bands. I can listen to them, I'd just rather not.

i saw maiden at ozzfest, eaisly the best band there...

Black Sabbath are high in my books since they are one of THE PIONNEER metal bands, but yeah, their music doesnt interest me all that much. im just not super into doom. I like alot of Judas Priest, their new album is suprisingly good, cause Halford is back:thumb:
and i just never got into Iron Maiden, only their ''popular'' songs (Trooper, run ot the hills, 2 mins to midnight, hallowed be thy name, number of the beast, ect. ect.) and those songs didnt sparkle much interest in me either.

but back to COB! who thinks ''We're Not Gonna Fall'' off the new album is WAY too short? its the best song on the cd, imo. it sounds the most like the COB we all know

I never noticed the length, but it's definitely an incredible song. Damn good live as well. :)

It's very short. Odd, because a lot of albums seem to hold their "epic" song until last. It is an awesome song though.

I wish they'd write a 10-minute opus.

"We're Not Gonna Fall" is good but...Bastards of Bodom is my personal fav of the new cd

I would say Bastards of Bodom is mine too.

It's a good song. I like Trashed, Lost & Strungout alot too.

Mine's If You Want Peace... Prepare for War. The solos are amazing and so is the song in general. Bastards of Bodom is definetly in my top 3 though.

New Children of Bodom Album
 

I just got Children Of Bodoms new cd, Are You Dead yet. Its incredible, there sound is much different but still they have all the same elements. Laiho amazing solos, sweet keyboard solos mixed with guitars, and extremely catchy Rythm section. Laiho's voice sounds alot better on this album. It seems as if he got a vocal coach or somthing his tone is great. I was wondering what you ppl and die hard c.o.b. fans think of the new album? If you havent heard it I suggest you check it out!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

I don't like it very much, although the songs are more enjoyable live.

I love it just as much as any other album.
