lots of reverb and flanger effects.
I know the term dark metal sucks, bt I guess they'd fit in.

The only one out of the 2 I liked was Guilted By The Sun, mainly because the production was only 7/8ths assed instead of fully assed.

I'm listening to Remembrance right now. They're not bad...funeral doom metal with programmed drums and assloads of pianos and strings. I like it. I'm a sucker for pianos and strings.

I like crushing production as much as the next guy, but when the instruments are compromised, it doesn't work for me.
