Is it the new punx thing to not bathe? To me being clean feels great.

I actually like taking showers. I just think they feel good. Guess I'm not punk rawk anarchy enough...

AIRIC 12-13-2006 03:20 PM

PUNKROCKANERCHY is more about stealing and fighting than bathing but being dirty helps.

coheneran 12-13-2006 03:29 PM

I just haven't had a shower lately because I couldn't be bothered. I can't say I'm feeling any dirtier than usual. I wonder when I will take a shower.

I'm riding my bike all the way to Camden Town tommorow, I hope it's not windy and/or rainy. Highgate Hill, here I come, so you better watch it!

They don't feel afterwards though. You're cold and have to deal with wet hair. But that's my only complaint about showers.

Yeah, I've noticed that you feel a little weird the day after not showering, but after that you get used to the slightly dingy feeling, and you can go several days without anyone noticing. And like eran said, it's nice that your hair is less dry.

Except I get dandruff if I don't wash my hair enough.

coheneran 12-13-2006 04:40 PM

Have you tried rubbing teatree oil into your scalp?

I'm pretty much the same way. My hair looks a lot better when I haven't showered and have slept on it for a couple days, but if I go too long, a little bit of dandruff starts up. I usually have a couple days between showers.

AIRIC 12-13-2006 07:42 PM

I shower every morning because my hair is so thick and gets really greasy and disgusting.

Yeah, same here.

bigblondeafro87 12-13-2006 07:58 PM

wow, a month and a half. Closest I've been in memory is ten days over the summer and that rocked, but hair pretty much became a mass of tangled dreadlocks. Maybe this summer a new record will come about as I live in a tent on a mountainside...

yourstruly 12-13-2006 08:24 PM

I shower twice a week and change my clothes often. Showers are just annoying, I hate them.

Sameness. I cut my hair, though, sooo, I doesn't stink as bad when I don't wash it for like, a week or two. At least, I don't smell it. I wanted to get all the stench out though, so I washed my hair like three times for the last three days..

AIRIC 12-13-2006 08:42 PM

I have a bigger problem with deoderant. It's just not a habit like teeth brushing so I dont apply everyday. Proabably 5 times a week though so it's not like I have bad BO.

Sunshine 12-13-2006 08:44 PM

My hair is uberly thin and it STILL gets insanely greasy if I don't shower every 24 hours =/

Thin and short.

And 'hawked.

But that's not the point.

I can't stand not showering. My skin gets all oily too =(

Danger Bird 12-13-2006 08:46 PM

What thread is this?

AIRIC 12-13-2006 08:48 PM

It's the DIY thread Bobby Hill.

Sunshine 12-13-2006 08:49 PM

...why are we talking about showering again?

Danger Bird 12-13-2006 08:51 PM
...why are we talking about showering again?
This is my point.

AIRIC 12-13-2006 08:54 PM

Because we're a community and when an interesting subject comes up we go with it because the DIY thread is stale and boring.

Danger Bird 12-13-2006 08:55 PM
an interesting subject
So where does the frequency of showers come into play?

AIRIC 12-13-2006 08:59 PM

Sorry bro lets just continue with posting gay ass DIY t-shirts.

Sunshine 12-13-2006 09:01 PM

Aww, c'mon.

Not ALL DIY shirts are gay.

But it IS kind of sad how commercial the whole thing has become.

If you're referring to my shirt, that's Eric Guzman.

Sunshine 12-13-2006 10:02 PM

's cool.

I'm just saying, it reminds me of organized anarchy.

Anarchy club.

Danger Bird 12-13-2006 10:07 PM

I've never heard of this "organized anarchy"

Sunshine 12-13-2006 10:15 PM

It's nothing real, not that I know of anyway.

It just seems like that's the way things are headed in society.

Danger Bird 12-13-2006 10:16 PM

okey dokey
