I don't really like Tool much. A lot of Tool's fan base is gay too.
You are making fun of bands fan base when you have a The Number Twelve Looks Like You avatar... no offense Martin but are you fucking retarded? |
i don't mind tool, some of their stuff is pretty cool, like the guitar parts go well, but i like some a perfect circle stuff more
tool's not really my thing |
I like Tool. I don't know if it's nostalgia or whatever, but I still like Tool a lot.
|
I can listen to Aenima forever.
|
they make cool atmospheres
i like that |
aenema is amazing, but yeah a lot of their fans do suck.
remember this is either a fake account or a f'ucking annoying kid and needs to shut up either way. |

|
Yep.
|

|
Can you please YSI it to me?
Yeah sure. I'll hit you up with a link sometime today. /steals Black Eyes from torn since I just remembered I have 1% of my music collection on this computer. |
Alright, thanks.
|
Can someone help me out here.
I wondering if there are certain modes or scales that go into emo music, or even post-hardcore. Maybe like typical chords, as well as tempo and time signature? I just started taking lessons and am slowly figuring this out. |
just play whatever feels right. there aren't any "emo" chords. it seems fairly free form to me, the style is all over the place.
|
you guys should check out ten falls forth, cant get enough
http://www.purevolume.com/tenfallsforth |
tennfallsforth isn't emo or a hardcore related band in the least, so they don't belong in this forum. take it to pop-punk or something.

Lot's of bands seem to make up chords as they go along, using alot of dissonant notes to throw things off. Just mess around and see what sounds good. Don't worry about time signatures or beats either. Emo doesn't seem to focus on anything like that. |
I fugred as much.
I just seem to notice certain chords at time that I can spot throughout. Alright. Thank you guys. Funeral Diner is delicious. |
kitty kitty cat kitty kitty cat, I'm feeling heavy.
