Just get rid of this kid. |
New mod policy, discuss.....
It seems we have some problems with inactive moderators. DBJ and I worked up this policy and it will ultimately help out the forum tremendously.
If a moderator does not log into MX for a solid month, and their absence is noted in the forum they moderate by user complaints and extra workload placed on other mods, that mod will be sent an email. After this email is sent then the mod in question will have 2 weeks to reply to the situation and remedy it. If the mod does not reply after the 2 week period then they can be replaced. There are exceptions to this. If a moderator KNOWINGLY is going to be gone, like SuperPeers computer problem or Bartenders month long holiday, then this policy would not apply to them. Also, if the moderator is replaced, and becomes active again, they would be eligible for the next available moderator posistion providing they are still behaving like a moderator. |

Guitar thread |
Ken: I like this Policy but like Liberi mentioned, it will be important how we define inactivity, but this is good news. Luckily though in R&M we seem to have a full and devoted staff so it's unlikely to affect this fourm much. :)
|
Yes, R&M actually got lucky in the mod department, which is fortunate, considering the morons who inevitably log onto this forum. :-/
|
Well, you guys have a stable mod staff because we have so much help which allows us to have fun with the forum as well. With everyone pulling together and helping maintain one of the busiest music forums on the net it makes moderating R&M easy!
Hey, Is there an Aerosmith thread, If not should I make one
I've seen a few in the past, just use the search function. |
In regards to R&M's "newest" spammer: you guys don't appear to remember him, do you. He was a lot worse.

Was he that one guy around 2 months ago that spammed up the whole front page of R&M? |
Hey, Is there an Aerosmith thread, If not should I make one
Just because you don't see one doesnt mean ya have to start one. Use the search feature, there are several Aerosmith threads. I perm. banned the 12 year old. |
I've seen a few in the past, just use the search function.
I Can't seem to find one that is currently being used, I Reckon it would make some decent discussion also why are all the ***OFFICIAL*** threads now called Rock and Metal threads |
http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=363837&highlight=aerosmith
There is a recent Aerosmith thread I found by doing a search. The reason why Aerosmith threads never take off is because noone ever puts any really good info in them. Its all, whats your fav album, or fav song, stuff like that. We changed the Official threads cus we were consumed by hot monkey lust. |
http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=384374
Close this please. Who really cares about the skin colour of KSE's vocalist?
Was there a reason this was left open? Obviously banning the account was good...but I don't see a reason to keep it open... |
^^^^ I didnt hit the delete button hahaha. I thought it was already gone!
Hey, if the 12 year old returns someone IM me, Im workin on some music... |
That would be a good reason heh. It kept getting bumped and I was like "Hmmm...I'm sure there's a good reason Ken left this open..." :p
++rep for you! |
Sounds cool to me man, the more info the better, crap threads get crap results. If you really want to make it a popular thread reference hot monkey lust.
Also, I am compiling my list for the next series of R&Mers to get rep. So, Im open for suggestions! |
Steerpike :D
|
Hey Ken, out of curiosity are you only interested in R&Mers, or could I suggest people from Pop-Punk too (since we don't have a real active mod).
|
Freezing Moon. He's been doing a lot of good threads on Black Metal bands. And he's pretty helpful.
