RCA 03-21-2005 07:45 PM

Well, I was talking in terms of brutal thrash albums.

ForiegnPenguin 03-21-2005 07:56 PM

I see.

Iced Earth-Burning Oasis

Freezing Moon 03-21-2005 07:59 PM

I was looking through a bunch of albums I haven't listened to in a long time, that were lost in the depths of my computer, and I found out I have two Coroner albums. These guys are awesome, and I've been listening to them a lot more. Great stuff.

NP: Sodom - Nuclear Winter

ForiegnPenguin 03-21-2005 08:01 PM

I only have PFD but I've been meaning to get R.I.P.

Freezing Moon 03-21-2005 08:08 PM

Yeah, I have PFD and R.I.P, they're both great.

RCA 03-21-2005 09:08 PM

No More Color is also a solid Coroner album, I recommend you two listen to it.

I remember trying to find it and being unable to. :(

I'll keep looking though.

NP: Sepultura - Sarcasitic Existance

RCA 03-21-2005 09:20 PM

Definately do. It combines the catchiness of PFD with a more straightforward thrash sound.

I have No More Color. If you have trouble getting it, talk to me and we can maybe negotiate a transfer online.

Oh, it's really different than PFD too. More brutal, technical and thrashier than the first 2 albums. Nonetheless, it kicks *** x 1,000,000,000,000,000,000

Ok so I overexaggerated on how much it kicked ***, but that album is a great masterpiece all metal fans should own.

If it's more brutal, technical, and thrashier, I definitly want it, so if you're up for trading, my AIM is in my profile. I have a large list of stuff I can send you in return. I also have MSN, but I prefer AIM. Soulseek doesn't work very well for me, since I have a mac.

NP: Possessed - The Exorcist.

RavenousMetalist87 03-21-2005 10:13 PM

ChosenOnes, I sent you and IM, but I take it you're not avaliable.

If you want to trade and I'm on, (my sn is AxXAcesHighXxA, although I want to get a change to maybe something different), let me know and I can do the best I can.

I never liked Destroyer 666. They bored me.

How has Darkness Descends been overrated lately?

Is Internal Conflicts off NMC or Grin? Becuase I do have that song.

NP: Dark Angel - An Ancient Inherited Shame

NP: Dark Angel - An Ancient Inherited Shame
People I've been talking to online and around where I live claim that nothing beats Darkness Descends, and it is the thrash-album-to-end-all-thrash-albums. This is a somewhat truthful statement, but these people don't know shit about thrash. I've recommended many different bands for them to listen and they say,"NO NO! I've heard Darkness Descends, I'm set for thrash." It gets quite irritating, and this a factor for my intolerance of ignorant metalheads.

Yes, it's a great album, but it's not the ONLY album.

Internal Conflicts is on Grin by the way.

NP: Heathen - Save The Skull

LordDargon 03-22-2005 08:42 AM

Be happy that people around where you live have heard Darkness Descends. :p

I guess I haven't heard anything off NMC then.

I love that Heathen song. Probably my favorite song on BtS, actually, although there are no poor ones.
SAVE THE SKULL FOR LAST! SAVE THE SKULL FOR LAAAAAAAAAAST!

I got back on Og's list. Apparently he never received any of my earlier messages. yeah!! \m/

metal-militia 03-22-2005 01:24 PM

I tried to check out HAoD a while ago, but I couldn't get anything. Another Aussie thrash band is Mortal Sin, though I've not heard them.
How could i forget Mortal Sin? Everyone go get Face of Despair and Mayhemic Destruction.

Best Heathen song is Death by Hanging.

My favorite Heathen song is Mercy Is No Virtue, especially the demo version of it.

I've got Mayhemic Destruction by Mortal Sin, although I haven't listened to it enough. I'll have to give it a spin today.

Dargon: Good that you got back on Og's list, as he has pretty much every thrash album ever released. I leech off of him all the time. :p

LordDargon 03-22-2005 01:30 PM

You wanna sign your poseur *** onto slsk? I can send you the rest of that Aborted album now.

Fixed. :p

I'm in Florida right now, on a computer that doesn't have Soulseek. This weekend you can send me it though.

Oh, that's why you're never online. Dammit, I wanted to leech that Mortal Sin and maybe some more Exciter off you  Well, I'll see if I can make it on there over the weekend, although it's unlikely. We'll get it done somehow :chug:

RCA 03-22-2005 01:41 PM

Somehow, yes. I remember how long it took for you to transfer Elvenefris to me.

Browse Og's files. He has Exciter and those Mortal Sin albums, plus I think he's got a better kb/s than I do.

LordDargon 03-22-2005 01:47 PM

Your upload goes to 25, and my download goes up to 25, so yours is as fast as mine is gonna go anyways. Plus yours doesn't waver around like some people's, making you my preferred choice for all leeching activities :D

Elvenefris is a really long album too. It didn't take me so long to send Pyrexia, or Suffocation, or Incubus.

RCA 03-22-2005 01:48 PM

True. All three of those albums were ace!

There is one user I downloaded a Sadus demo from that got me up to 145 kb/s.

Magicaltroll 03-22-2005 02:15 PM

I liked that Kreator - Pleasure To Kill alot, can you recommend me some more thrash albums? thanks :thumb:
I liked that Kreator - Pleasure To Kill alot, can you recommend me some more thrash albums? thanks :thumb:
If you haven't gotten it already, get Slayer's "Reign In Blood". Very easy to find.

If you already have RiB, go pick up Sodom's "Agent Orange" or Dark Angel's "Darkness Descends".

Shred Danson 03-22-2005 02:24 PM

Or better yet, Slayer-"Hell Awaits".

Oh, yeah.

RCA 03-22-2005 02:41 PM

Hell Awaits is great too, worth your money indeed.

I'm going to the record store near here in about an hour, I called in and they have a copy of a Hypnosia demo.

Talk about great distribution!

Magicaltroll 03-22-2005 02:49 PM

Thanks man :thumb:
I get confused when I come in here, since most of you have the same avatar
And yeah I have RiB, its pretty good. I'll be sure to check out the other ones you mentioned.

Definately, they're great albums.

I've changed my avatar slightly to get my message across clearer, if you've noticed.

You might wanna pick up Sepultura - Schizophrenia and Beneath the Remains if you don't already have them. 2 of the best thrash albums IMO and Bonded by Blood by Exodus, in fact I command you to go out and buy it right now! :p

NP: Anthrax - Across the River
