^ Tired, accomplished, but also sad.

I was at Berklee all weekend, and I learned/played so much, but I'll miss hanging with all the MXers. They were seriously the coolest group of guys I've ever met.

I can double thumb and slap pretty well, but I knew NO music theory before going there...now I'm really starting to get it. :D

I know music theory fairly well, but thats somes from playing in the school's band and having a teacher who loves Jazz and therefore teaches me scales and how to improvise.

When I say I'm average at slapping I can play easy lines such as Higher Ground, Van't Stop and I can almost play the whole Primus Master of Puppets, But I don't think I could play stuff like Tommy the Cat.

I am coming, I'm gonna hide in someone's suitcase.

It's not that hard actually, slowing it down really helps. what really helped me though was a recording that I think Jamerson (Mxer not the real one) did and it has TTC slowed down and then sped up it really helps you get a feel for it because there are no other instruments in the mix. I don't think i have it still but ask around mx someones bound to have it. :thumb:

I just tried posting a thread in the guitar forum. It degenerated into a fight about that Sheehan/Gilbert duel vid where I had the pleasure of trying to respond to intellectual arguments like "So?" and "Well, the guitar is louder."

No wonder people like us so much better.
