We never had false fire alarms. I wish we had.
They are cool the first few times, getting out of class. But after the 5th one, it's really ****ing annoying.

AIRIC 05-18-2006 06:32 PM

I don't really care.

Brain Toad 05-18-2006 07:17 PM

I was just watching some Johnny Cash videos on YouTube. These were my favorites

Cash on The Muppet Show
He does "Dirty Old Egg Sucking Dog" and Rolf starts freaking out.

They both have to be wasted, they are making some weird faces and moving in odd ways.

We had a bomb threat a couple of years ago, because this scumbag kid wanted to see his girlfriend.

asdf 05-18-2006 07:23 PM

We never had a bomb threat that I'm aware of, but the FBI did come to interrogate a kid.

This kid has the worst luck ever.

So there's this known terrorist with the last name padilla. Well so does this senior named Jesse. This year some freshman was on some forum or online chat thing, and he starts talking about how Jesse is a terrorist. Well, the FBI traces it to a computer at our school, and they interrogate Jesse for a few hours.

Woo, only 1 more official day of school, then 3 finals, then summer.

ViciousLove 05-18-2006 07:38 PM

I have tomorrow, next week, then finals and then I'm done.
We have lockdown drills sometimes, like the teacher has to go and lock the door and shut the blinds. One time was really funny because during the drill someone knocked on the door and the teacher just opened it for whoever it was. And then we have earthquake drills where we have to get under our desks. And fire drills where we just go outside.

AIRIC 05-18-2006 07:40 PM

Last time we had a lockdown drill it was in between class time. I was in a double block so I was still in a room and my teacher ended up pulling in about 50 extra kids.

Tommorow is Italian food in Gourmet. I can't wait.

ViciousLove 05-18-2006 07:41 PM

Yum.

I had one lockdown drill the entire 4 years at high school and it was the same period as my French class. My French teacher (who had just come to teach at Hogan that year) used to teach at Columbine and was there when the shootings happened and left the school afterwards. So she took it seriously, but none of the students did. I felt sorry for her, because she knew of the real importance of it all.

I've only had earthquake drills in elementary school, doesn't make any sense living in the Bay Area and not having them.

Anarcho Poser 05-18-2006 07:45 PM

All I have is firedrills where we go outside, lockdowns where they just lock the doors and put a paper over the window on them, and one evacuation drill per year where we go to another school.

asdf 05-18-2006 07:46 PM

My friend said that at her old middle school, when they practiced for lockdowns, the code would be the principal coming onto the PA saying "MR. RICK IS CLEANING THE HALLS." Everyone's reaction was "wtf, mr. rick doesn't clean anything"

Skippy Prat 05-18-2006 07:54 PM

lockdowns are ****in stupid. all they do is cram everyone in the class in one corner makin them easier to kill. and they asume that someone with a gun is gonna see an empty school and give up.

I love the one we did last week when we all gathered in the 3 gyms... u kno, cause if there is a chemical leek or a killer, lets all get in the same spot. The one fkin gym only has one way in and one way out....

LinkinParkSucks 05-18-2006 09:26 PM

lockdowns are sweet...beats the heck outta doing schoolwork... i dont mind chillin in the corner for a while...

AIRIC 05-18-2006 09:29 PM

Just stand behidn the black people and you won't get shot.

Don't you f'aggots watch South Park?

Brain Toad 05-18-2006 09:30 PM

AHHHH INVASION OF THE REBELLIOUS 14 YEAR OLDS

ViciousLove 05-18-2006 09:36 PM

One time during a lockdown last year when I was a freshman, the teacher was like, "okay, this is what we're going to do if it's for real" He drew a dot around the board "this is me" then he drew a circle around the dot, "and you all surround me like this so it's like a human shield." Haha.

Sounds like a funny dude. Cool teacher?

ViciousLove 05-18-2006 09:40 PM

Yeah, he was awesome. I had him for health.

AIRIC 05-18-2006 09:40 PM

I've always wanted a teacher to say something so offensive that I can just get up and walk out of class.

Anarcho Poser 05-18-2006 09:40 PM

You and me both, brotha.

ViciousLove 05-18-2006 09:42 PM

Haha, yeah. I've argued with teachers before, but never just left.

AIRIC 05-18-2006 09:45 PM

I'm usually quiet in school. I don't talk to my teachers much.

ViciousLove 05-18-2006 09:51 PM

I talk to my teachers a lot if I like them. This year most of my teachers are cool.

Anarcho Poser 05-18-2006 09:52 PM

I have a hard time listening to Bob Dylan. His voice is just so... I dunno. I really like Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You though.

AIRIC 05-18-2006 09:53 PM

I know what you mean. He's a really good artist but he sounds so overly mentally retarded that it's hard to listen sometimes.

ViciousLove 05-18-2006 10:09 PM

Yeah, I don't really like Bob Dylan that much.

Brain Toad 05-18-2006 10:10 PM

People walk out of my classes all the time. But not because of anger.

Though I saw one guy leave because the teacher started yelling at people.

And Bob Dylan can't sing for ****. He can write beautiful songs, but he sucks at singing.
