But afterwards.. gum on everything..

Thunder Fingers 06-12-2005 06:46 AM

the rapping in that song kinda tenses me up alittle... but the bass line in the back helps...

jaco jr 06-12-2005 06:47 AM

wow
i was just starting to learn moonlight sonata - first on bass - and bloody hell the things hard even if it is slow
and then on keyboard, and even in that there are some monstrous stretches unless you have three hands

lemoley 06-12-2005 06:49 AM

oh well guys im outter here see ya around

jaco jr 06-12-2005 06:52 AM

albinoblacksheep 06-12-2005 06:59 AM

Do you guys listen to classical music when you study? It might sound abit clichee but it really helps me concentrate. I got a huge history end of year exam on tuesday and I have to revise the whole bloody imperialism (Africa, India, China) Unit as well as Treaty of Versailles and The League of Nations :(

Beethoven kinda keeps me from getting too frustrated, haha

Thunder Fingers 06-12-2005 07:03 AM

kilian 06-12-2005 07:04 AM

What kind of band do you have?

Thunder Fingers 06-12-2005 07:07 AM

Prog rock/Heavy Metal... Or, i play Prog Rock, i think the rest play Heavy Metal..

Damrod 06-12-2005 07:09 AM
why does everyone hate the pit, aint it just a big casual
No.

Seriously, did you have a look into the Pit recently? I think it's the most uneducated and stupid place of all forums here on MX (the sub-forums of the Pit don't count into that though). Even the least intelligent convo in this thread is too educated to fit into the Pit IMO

Rollo47 06-12-2005 07:09 AM

Hey All

How are we?

jaco jr 06-12-2005 07:09 AM

have you got your precision yet martin?

kilian 06-12-2005 07:09 AM

Thunder Fingers 06-12-2005 07:12 AM
have you got your precision yet martin?
and do you like it?
the precision that is

kilian 06-12-2005 07:18 AM

Every band has the problem that they don't know where to place themselves.. Or it must be a punkband. Or a old rock band. Or a REALLY typical popband.
and do you like it?

Hell yeah i do... havent you noticed me praising Fender CIJ up in the skies lately?

Im usually very good at labeling bands... or around here "Pop Rock""black Metal""Heavy metal" is usually winners

rybass 06-12-2005 09:05 AM

gaslight 06-12-2005 09:11 AM

A polyrhythm is two or more contrasting rhythms played at the same time.

And hey rybass, what's happening?

rybass 06-12-2005 09:19 AM
