Wu-Tang Clan >>>>>>> You

...that goes for everyone.

EDIT:

YOU LIKE VEIL OF MAYA MORE THAN CONVERGE?!?!?!?!

WTF!
OMG I also like Rotting Christ more than Death.

The horror I tell you.
Yeah. For some reason my ipod will only play music through one ear, and I used to be able to get it to play correctly if I pulled the cord really tight (so I'm assuming the input needed to touch against a component on the inside), but sadly that doesn't work anymore. Now I've succumbed to pulling the plug out a little bit and that makes it work correctly... only it makes the music sound incredibly imbalanced and sounds like it's being played in a pop can.
That sounds like the headphones, not the iPod is broken. I've had that problem with head phones a bunch of times because I've gone through a tone of them. Try new headphones if you haven't.
And I thought I was bad on a 100GB drive!

BTW Nostalgia, couldn't it be your earphones/headphones?
That's pretty much standard hard drive space. If you don't download tons of music or movies it's plenty of space.

I have over 50 gigs of music alone.

I'm building a new system in February and I'm getting a 500GB drive.

pate 01-04-2008 11:31 AM

I have 150+ gigs of music on a 500GB external.

I like As Cities Burn more than I like Death. True metalheads will crucify me, I say.

Against Miik! 01-04-2008 12:15 PM

Kind of an odd question, but for anybody who has Thrice's the Alchemy Index, what is your ID3 tag like? I got it off my schools downloading service, and it has DRM and you aren't supposed to take that off, but I did. The only thing is you have to write your own ID3 tags. So what is the correct one for the album?

Tyler 01-04-2008 12:22 PM

The Alchemy Index Volume I (Fire)
The Alchemy Index Volume II (Water)

Then just organize the tracks accordingly. 1-6, 1-6.

Against Miik! 01-04-2008 01:09 PM

cools thanks man.

edit: o wait I dunno if that worked. If the ID3 tags are correct, the album cover is supposed to pop up next to the song title and such in the last.fm window, but its still just that generic record picture. Does that mean that tags are wrong?

So do I. I'm just saying it's fine for some people...

Mine is tagged

The Alchemy Index: Volumes I & II

If the picture doesn't pop up, that might just mean last.fm hasn't added the album to their database yet. I know it took them about 6 months to finally get Fear of a Blank Planet up, so it's not uncommon.

Against Miik! 01-04-2008 05:24 PM

ok then. I guess it just doesn't matter yet. I know it seems a bit picky, but I just like to have everything organized.

Skyler 01-04-2008 05:32 PM

Nah, it's not picky. I'm kind of OCD about my music. Everything needs to be tagged and organized correctly, album art included.

TojesDolan 01-05-2008 07:28 PM

Cool, updates.

TojesDolan 01-06-2008 03:42 PM

LAST.FM is acting very, very gay.

Txus 01-06-2008 03:59 PM

Why?

It's fine for me.

the2stranger 01-06-2008 04:00 PM

No updates.
Last.fm has been a bit weird lately, I agree.

It's ok now though, except that it hasn't updated yet.
:(

Txus 01-06-2008 04:04 PM

But it rarely updates during sunday, it usually updates monday at 1 AM kindof

MBS 01-06-2008 04:19 PM

i want mine to update. this week has been really interesting :(

Txus 01-06-2008 04:23 PM

I had a shitty week :upset:

NemesisDivina 01-06-2008 04:25 PM

I had an amazing week, lots of stoner/doom. It was probably my most massive week to date. There should be a few bands with over 100 plays just this week.

gmoneyguy 01-06-2008 04:41 PM

idk what my week is going to look like.

Apocalypticon 01-06-2008 04:50 PM

Mine should be good. We'll see though. I rediscovered the joys of Jaga Jazzist and Koop, so that should be good.

Txus 01-06-2008 04:52 PM

I haven't listen to any Koop in ages!

masscows 01-06-2008 04:53 PM

wtf most of my plays didn't scrobble.

Nostalgia 01-06-2008 05:04 PM

Hasn't updated yet, but I predict lots of Warning, Solstice, and Pagan Altar.

Angmar 01-06-2008 05:05 PM

Fucking Pagan Altar! \m/

I predict I have a lot of them, Tenhi and Jaaportit. IDK though, there is a lot I have listened to this week.

Txus 01-06-2008 05:08 PM

Jaaportit is great, I didn't know you like that.

Apocalypticon 01-06-2008 05:10 PM
I haven't listen to any Koop in ages!
you should. right now.

gogogogogogo

I'm getting back into that kind of Scandinavian jazz post-rock stuff. The Samuel Jackson Five, Magyar Posse, Koop, Jaga Jazzist. yeah good stuff.

Angmar 01-06-2008 05:12 PM

@Mike

I just recently got into them, excellent ambient music. And yes, I love ambient, I thought everyone knew that. :p

The only one I've heard is Jaga Jazzist. :(

Txus 01-06-2008 05:15 PM

I didn't :(

Awesome, I might have some good albums for you to check out then! I'll post something in your shoutbox soon :)

Steve: I listened to Kings of Time last night, great album. I think I'll listen to some Koop after this Nastumen ends.

Kage 01-06-2008 05:16 PM

Koop isn't any good

Txus 01-06-2008 05:17 PM
