We get it here, was my favourite drink for a spell.
My old bottles of it seem to be gone so I can't get the percentage off them for you but I'm pretty sure it's all made in Amsterdam and there aren't variations from country to country. Unless they specifically dumb it down for the US which I wouldn't know about. Breaking news, found my remaining bottle. Yeah, product of Holland. "Contains the essential essence of coca leaf to the power of 40 grams per litre." "700ML, 30% alc/vol."
I might have to have a look for this now... |
It's a fun drink. Vibrant green colour, striking smell, gets you drunk and buzzed.
|
...Hmmm. Like absinthe? :p
|
Yeah except without the whole "this is what the Year 10 Philosophy Club get drunk on" vibe.
|
Bahahahha. Philosophy students are such morons. I'm a writing student, technically I should drink scotch, but I much prefer gin.
|
Anything you need to swirl is good for a writer.
|
I do like brandy...
|
I like brandy snaps.
|
-_-'
In other news: I'm awesome. |
Don't get squinty on my biscuits foo'.
|
What I had this morning was better than brandy snaps. Snap. See the snapping there? Snap.

-.-

Teehee, I'm only joshin.
Although I need sleep. Got two stupidly stupid days at work ahead of me. Two people quit, one on mental health leave and one hurt his back and can't work at the moment. |
Also, I sent this to prospective employer, I hope my unprofessional professional approach pays off :p
Hi Sandy, I was introduced to your website by my friend Lauren (one half of the lovely Sieger girls), and being a budding writer myself was interested in the potential of some submissions; in particular to expand my writing capabilities and style as well as express my overtly opinionated views. In addition to this it would give me much needed (not to mention sought-after) professional experience. I read over your submission guidelines and like to think I'm more than capable of obliging and submitting interesting content, although this is all dependant on whether or not you are interested in what I have to offer. I do have a number of articles/review/opinion pieces I've written on various subjects over the last two years as part of my university course - BFA in Creative Writing with Journalism - however instead of sending you a cluster of articles that aren't tailored to a specific style or subject (other than that specified by assessment guidelines) I think I can express my ideas better by simply explaining a few of my ideas to you. An idea that I've been meaning to get off the ground for some time now (either on my own via a blogging site or through a publication such as yourself) is more or less a journal chronicling the travels of my band through the music industry. The intention of this was to be both a witty serial-type endeavour as well as informative to young musicians who are struggling to make a name for themselves; in addition to simply being an insight into the other side of the music subculture for non-musicians. I'm not sure if this is *exactly* what a publication like yours is after, but I feel it's best to let you know regardless. [http://www.myspace.com/riverstonehaze - if you're interested in having a listen] I also hold strong opinions in regards to youth culture, in particular pertaining to the consumption of alcohol and illicit drugs and criminalisation of the masses in popular media. Having worked in the liquor industry for roughly a year now as well as being a young person who enjoys a night on the town I feel that I have a fairly realistic opinion on the matter from both a consumer and selling standpoint. In addition to this I have also studied film and music theory at one point or another and have experience analysing (and more recently) writing reviews of both disciplines. I'm aware this email is bordering on tedious now, but I felt it would be the best way to let you know a bit more about who I am and what I have to say. I look forward to hearing from you in the future. Regards, Ryan Honey
|
Also, lol:

HAHAHA!
Paid in full. *Rubber stamp sound.* "Police Ten 7" is hilarious. New Zealand's version of Cups. |
I ordered an album after listening to a couple more of his tracks.
Thinking of doing the same thing. Where did you buy it from? |
No I don't sell it at my store, either way my shop isn't the kind of place to get it from, I doubt many non-independent stores would do it either. All stores owned by large corporations have pretty strict guidelines as to what kind of liquor (RTD's usually) they can/will sell. Anything over a certain percent or that instils a message that doesn't include "drink responsibly" doesn't get sold.
I've never seen it (nor heard of it before just now) and I take pride in knowing as much as possible about what I sell regardless of what it might be. If you really were interested I could probably find some websites domestically that will export to the US. No promises that they'll sell it though.
I have a feeling that they wont export it to the US (otherwise AGWA would distribute it to the US), so I was looking for a middle-man in Europe that could send it to me under the radar, or so to speak. If you ever get the chance, you should definitely try AGWA. Mild bite almost reminiscent of tequila, but tastes like mint and lime. Mix it with a lime and coke, and your head will stay clear, but your body will be drunk. It is a weaker liquor, being only 40-proof, IIRC, so you'll likely end up drinking 3/4 of the bottle yourself, but the taste and buzz are worth it. Anybody checked out the new Breaking Benjamin album? It's really good. I'll be *purchasing it tonight. *through utorrent |

I got it through his label: http://anticon.com/?js=yes |
Just got back from a run.
I downloaded this program for my iPhone that (apparently) will allow you to run 5k after 9 weeks. It starts off small (ex: jog 60 seconds, run 90 seconds. repeat for 30 min) but by the look of things, it may actually work. Heh, atleast its got me running :p |

Christ, switching majors midstream sucks. I've seen three advisors today, and now I'm writing a written request to the Associate Dean about one of my courses. Fortunately, I get to go fix bikes in 30 minutes, so that will cheer me up. And I'm having a drink at the pub, that also helps. You'll be sorry you missed my Thanksgiving btw, I have about 14 people confirmed. |
No, I just try to buy bikes. Some of the others have fallen through.
You can have the cranks when I die. (I'm never going to die)
 |

An 8-ish page recommendation to Obama about what political strategies he should use to pass environmental regulation in the senate before december, given that healthcare reform is the hot issue.
There's a bit more to it than that, as the prompt is a page in itself... |
