Burn in Hell! is like the best Doom song ever.

[I]II: Crush the Insects[/I] is my favorite so far. Doom over the World nigga.

[I]In the Rectory of the Bizarre Reverend[/I] is the only album of their's that I've got.

I still prefer Burn in Hell! over Doom Over the World, idk, it was the first RV song i heard so that's probably why, but it kicks much much ***.

I really like the Harbinger of Metal EP.

Plus it's got a sweeeeeet cover of Dunkelheit on it.

Makes the original version seem fast.

I also LOVE [I]Return to the Rectory[/I], it has some really sweet songs.

RB is one of the best doom bands ever. I love all the albums I think I listen to Harbringer or Return to the Rectory most.

We've got like 6 new songs written. The new album should be out late in the year.

We're working with a new band now, that's the reason for the WoR delay.



RB is too repetitive for me to listen to regularly.

I wouldn't call RB repetitive, but I don't listen to them that much. Besides In the Rectory I don't really care for them.

Bands I like don't play the same riff for 12 minutes, and then switch to a different riff for 15 minutes, then back to the first for another 12.

Reverend Bizarre is the Vital Remains of doom metal: they'd be alright if their songs were 1/3 as long.

I like the songs just as they are, unlike Vital Remains though, they don't suck.

I decided to get [I]II[/I] and [I]III[/I]. Holy sh*t, [I]II[/I] is good. I'm kicking myself for not checking this out sooner.

II is their weakest

Might be. I'm only halfway through it and have yet to hear [I]III[/I]. This far I like [I]In the Rectory of the Bizarre Reverend[/I] more, I think.

I have In the Rectory and III and both rule, I probably just like In the Rectory more because it's not quite as long, III is still superb though. I'll get II later.
