Damien Rice - O
TV On The Radio - Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes (on first impressions, meh) Kanye West - Late Registration (on first impressions, good) Kaizers Orchestra - Ompa Til Du Dør (on first impressions, great) The Smiths - The Smiths (just picked this up yesterday, also great) Gang of Four - Entertainment! (almost reaching 5 star status) |
^I'm starting to like that too.
Bartender, what's a good Aerogramme album to start with? |

Bartender, what's a good Aerogramme album to start with?
hey. fall of troy is pretty good. |
Damien Rice - O
Amazing stuff. I just bought Origin of Symmetry not too long ago, so I've been diggin tracks like "New Born", "Bliss", "Space Dementia" (NP), and "Micro Cuts", which, despite my best efforts, I can't not like. |
Oneida - The Wedding
This is where it's at.
Check out their back catalogue. They're quite an interesting band, but very hit or miss. |

Bartender, what's a good Aerogramme album to start with?
The only Aereogramme album I know in full is A Story in White, but I can rather heartily recommend it. Nacho likes them, I think. Maybe he can be of more help. |
I like Broadcast.

Woohoo, the delivery man came. He gave me my wonderful package. Such a nice man.
It contained the following (this will be my diggage for the next 2 days): American Splendor DVD Black Mountain - Druganaut EP Black Sabbath - Vol. 4 Black Sabbath - Sabotage (the Ozzy-albums are now completed) Calexico - Convict Pool EP The Wrens - The Meadowlands A good haul methinks. |
hey. fall of troy is pretty good.
You like 'em now eh? |
They'll be back up within the next few days, according to the forums.

Man, Foetus always rubs me the right way.

The only song I've heard from them is "Not In Your Hands," which is quite peculiar. But worth a listen I guess. |
The Catherine Wheel by David Byrne is playing for the first time at the moment (I'm about half-way through), and it's really sweet.
Welcome to the future, o time traveling citizen! The world is a much different place than it was in 1985, but I think you'll find some things never change...
Best. Post. Ever. |

TV On The Radio - Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes (on first impressions, meh)
Overrated. It's not bad, it's just not as good as everyone seems to think it is. |
The Delgados - "Hate"
Such an incredible band. |
Wire - Pink Flag
Rudiments - Bitch Bitch Bitch Blonde Redhead - Misery is a Butterfly |
Wire - Pink Flag
Rudiments - Bitch Bitch Bitch Blonde Redhead - Misery is a Butterfly
I'm not a big fan of theirs but that album is okay. |
Miles Davis - In A Silent Way (4/5)
Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx (3.5/5) Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables (4.5/5) Bob Marley & The Wailers - Catch A Fire (4.5/5) Atmosphere - You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having (4.5/5) |

Today I was reminded of your old avatar/title when it said MX boglin, because I just realized that I actually have a boglin. |
It probably is.
Nope it's different. Maybe not better for everyone, but certainly different :) |
This is the last day I get to listen to music until Monday. :(
Been listening to BTBAM and Sigur Ros (in preparation for the new album). |
Today I was reminded of your old avatar/title when it said MX boglin, because I just realized that I actually have a boglin.
Sweet! Boglins rule. |
Today:
Pixies - Surder Rosa Black Sabbath - Vol. 4 (I like this more than Master now) Pink Floyd - Live from Pompeii(probably coolest live performance by anyone, ever) The Sultans - Shipwrecked |
The first time I remember seeing Zappa on mx, he had that very same boglin avatar. He made me feel so foolish and naive for not realizing that System of a Down was heavily influenced by Faith No More and Mike Patton in particular.
