DaveSavesTheDay 04-15-2009 07:26 PM

That's crazy.

BenJammin 04-15-2009 07:29 PM
That's crazy.
What? That so much of the Maritimes are fair to poor in living quality?

You've clearly never been here. :p

(I live in a red zone, so I'm clearly an exception.)

Never been no, but my mom's side of the family is from there.

I still have family out there.

BenJammin 04-15-2009 07:50 PM

Eh, other than Fredericton/Moncton/St. John, and Halifax/Dartmouth... there's not much worth seeing. And even that, you may as just go to Halifax and call it a day.

:amaze: 04-15-2009 07:56 PM

wooo canada ....

pukeboy66 04-15-2009 08:19 PM

OAR's cover of Fool in the Rain is pretty good.

HELLonWHEELS 04-15-2009 09:38 PM

I just busted out the 6 string fretless for the first time in months. I like fretless, but its just not for me.

DaveSavesTheDay 04-15-2009 10:24 PM

So, I've been dranking Corona all night because I don't have anything else.

Mmmm.

pukeboy66 04-15-2009 10:37 PM

Night Ripper is such a good album.

DaveSavesTheDay 04-15-2009 10:39 PM

hello douglas

BenJammin 04-15-2009 10:47 PM

Corona is awful beer.

It's what girls drink so they can be like "OMG, I'm drinking beer just like all of my guy friends!"

Of course you are, sweetie. Now go back to drinking your girly mixed drinks and taking your top of.

Sablate McNuff 04-15-2009 10:55 PM

Everyone in AZ seems to love it. Yuck. If I want a good cerveza, I'll grab a Dos Equis.

BenJammin 04-15-2009 10:57 PM

If there's any good Mexican beer out there, it is only to be found in Mexico itself. But I somehow doubt there's any truly good Mexican beer...it's not really something they're known for.

No, beer from Mexico is horrible. They don't have regulations like they do in most other countries, so in a 12-pack, you will find some that taste like water and others with 10% alcohol.

Sablate McNuff 04-15-2009 11:03 PM

It's funny. American beer is very popular down there and they like the consistency, so you can use it to barter down there.

BenJammin 04-15-2009 11:11 PM

America has some of the best beers I've ever tried.

:amaze: 04-16-2009 12:07 AM

i like beer

burtonbassist_102 04-16-2009 12:38 AM

beer = teh suck.

i have yet to try a beer that actually tastes good.

of course i'm really picky.

:amaze: 04-16-2009 12:54 AM

i used to be that way. couldn't happily finish a beer. then i went to college. i learned how to like it. now i love it.

burtonbassist_102 04-16-2009 02:16 AM

you see, i just don't get the point in having to LEARN to like something, ya know?

if i don't like something, i won't consume it.

:amaze: 04-16-2009 02:31 AM

because then you'll like something else! why not try to broaden your tastes?

if my options are free beer or buying my own bottle of liquor, i'll take the beer thanks.

if a buddy offers me a beer when we're hanging out, i like it now ... even if i'm not getting drunk.

Az_Holl 04-16-2009 03:28 AM

i got over being a beer snob a looong time ago. I can tell that different beers taste differently... i just really wouldnt say that i can distinguish from good and bad.

Whatevers cheapest.

:amaze: 04-16-2009 03:42 AM

hell yeah. give me two 40s of old english and i'm set.

...for a while, at least.

Az_Holl 04-16-2009 06:37 AM

pretty much all ive drunk since new years is cask wine :p mainly because thats all i can afford... but it tastes ok

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 04-16-2009 06:39 AM

my parents buy 4x24 packs of beer at a time because they're all on sale and i just steal that.

FunkMetalBass 04-16-2009 07:08 AM
America has some of the best beers I've ever tried.
Care to name off anything specific? And I agree. We have some incredible micro brews.
my parents buy 4x24 packs of beer at a time because they're all on sale and i just steal that.
I have a keg and full bar in my backyard.

24-packs = teh weak sauce

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 04-16-2009 07:12 AM

i don't have a keg and full bar in my backyard. so i make do with the 24 pack

FunkMetalBass 04-16-2009 07:36 AM

Well in that case, chug-a-lug, sir.

I just got an offer on my Conklin GTBD-7 to trade for a Spector Legend 6. I think there's a $600 price gap there, even in the used market...

FunkMetalBass 04-16-2009 09:14 AM

I'm strangely drawn to this guitar and might just offer him the $200 for it...

EDIT: Nevermind. It has a trem.

FunkMetalBass 04-16-2009 12:32 PM

You might consider updating the PureVolume page a bit:
...Now, Jae Stevens Live is nearing completion of their first full length album tentatively titled When what if gets the best of us to be released in early July of 2007...
