Understanding In a Crash 04-25-2005 07:20 PM

Saosin kind of just burned out. I actually saw a video for that bury your head song on MTV2. Like once... late night.
IDT, I've heard some songs kind of reminds me of Atreyu after Suicide Notes & Butterfly kisses. I was thinking about cashing in on Darkest Hour too. The list always seems endless.
Yeah, they do sound like Atryeu a bit. Their screams are horrendous and the solos are pretty cheesy, but the chorus of "A Threnody..." is so damn catchy.

hey, you're not cory! 04-25-2005 07:20 PM
They're vocals are cool (Anthony Green) but the music bors me. There on purevolume.
i know, i was gonna listen to them at school the other day but for whatever reason the volume wasn't working. i love Anthony Green's voice though

cbmartinez 04-25-2005 07:21 PM

I got post 1000

Understanding In a Crash 04-25-2005 07:22 PM

Yeah there has to be two things I hate within the metal-core/hardcore region and it has to be solo's that sound like the song is having an aneurysm and that corny lets race up the same scale 5 times tremelo picking with the same lyrics.

Atreyu is the only metalcore band that can pull off solos that don't sound cheesy. Seriously, their solos are awesome.
eww, Atreyu
repeated

cbmartinez 04-25-2005 07:27 PM

Ewww, Park.

hey, you're not cory! 04-25-2005 07:28 PM

Park pwns. you're just jealous you didn't hear them first

cbmartinez 04-25-2005 07:31 PM

"Which Wrist First?"

omg scremo

hey, you're not cory! 04-25-2005 07:33 PM

haha, i thought that the first time i saw that to.

they're really good though, they're more original than a lot of their peer bands.

unlike Atreyu

cbmartinez 04-25-2005 07:35 PM

Atreyu is more talented than park. They used to be good. When I hear that Park song title, I always think of that gay "cut my wrists and black my eyes" song. Me and my friend always scream that.

Understanding In a Crash 04-25-2005 07:36 PM

Hawthorne Heights!

hey, you're not cory! 04-25-2005 07:37 PM

i despise Hawthorne Heights as much as i can hate anything else

haha, me and my friends do to.
doesn't it soudn like that screamer stuffed his mouth with marshmellows or something of a similar texture before he started screaming? its so weird

cbmartinez 04-25-2005 07:38 PM

u no u kill mi well

How do you kill someone badly? You kill them, it can't be bad or good. They're dead.

hey, you're not cory! 04-25-2005 07:39 PM

i hate how poorly arranged that song is too

Understanding In a Crash 04-25-2005 07:40 PM

This is comedy gold this page... I'm trying to write a song but I have funny lyrics stuck in my head now.

I always do the singing part and my friend does the screaming. And I'm all, "Yeah, see it's like his split emo personality. You see him signing and then the other guy comes out of him and does the scream, he's the anger within him."

Understanding In a Crash 04-25-2005 07:41 PM

I want to hang out with Jon, Chris, and Michael. We should have a picnic at central park.

cbmartinez 04-25-2005 07:45 PM

Dude, such a good idea. Or I could stop by next time I head out to my g(randma)-unit's house. Where do you live again?

Ahhh, that would be so awesome. I love the back and forth screams on "P.S. Love The Black" also. One of my favorite parts:

"Does it make you sick?"

CHIKA CHIKA CHIKA CHIK

"The smell of daddy's sweat? The taste of daddy's spit crawl!"

Gnarmageddon 04-25-2005 08:06 PM

Oh, gotcha.

Yeah, I know where Lafayette is. I think I went there for a marching band competition once.
