I had rather in-depth conversations with Jelle and Joe today. Joe is intimidating to talk to online, and I'm not quite sure why. I always think he's out to get me :-\

I am also flat-out broke, and I need to go pick up an album tomorrow, so I'm going to stop at the jeanie and pick up some money to last me for the rest of the semester.

My parents are coming up this weekend and taking all my stuff back that isn't essential (microwave, pots and pans, etc.). I've already hid my silverware and plates and stuff somewhere, and so my roommate isn't particularly thrilled, but once he sees that my stuff is gone (that he uses), he's going to be irate. And you know what, I don't care. What he pulled on me last night (read back awhile, I can't remember what page, though), I am sick of his crap, and I am literally one touch away from giving him a right to the temple, a left to the bridge of his nose, and a right uppercut to his jaw, with a melee attack a la UFC to follow. No one is going to back him up... but I have confidence that he's not going to do anything retarded, mostly because:

I have well over four inches on him (~10cm? for the Europeans)
I have well over fifty pounds on him (~23kg for the Europeans)
I am a hell of a lot more athletic than he is
He's one of the biggest pussies I've ever met

So, I'm quite confident in being able to defend myself.

Moving on, I only have fifteen more days of uni before I am home for the summer, so that means I just have to stick it out a little longer.

People are stressing about upcoming final presentations and exams, as am I. I am going to have a beast on Friday for my Honors class, then a paper to turn in in a couple weeks... and I also have to teach my class for education something in my major or minor, and I have to do my final diversity group project.

Outside of uni, I have not done too much. I just study, post here, and do something like play basketball or chill outside to take advantage of the nice weather we are having.

I just can't wait for this to all be over.

1) Get his Korean gang of faggots to jump me one day. I can handle certain people in outnumbered situations, but they have weapons, and I don't stand a chance.

2) I share a room with him, hence him being the roommate. I keep earlier hours than he does. He might try something stupid with a knife since I'm a sound sleeper.

3) He might break/steal my stuff... computer, camera, Gamecube, DVDs, CDs, etc.

The answer is yes. If you can do it, do so. It' supposed to be great fun, looks good on apps, and gives you a chance to learn another culture. There's no downside but money.

:lol: I found out that I sleepwalk and talk all the time. Me and my friend were in his condo in Utah, and he was watching a movie, and I had fallen asleep (it was Napolean Dynamite, go figure) The movie ended and he woke me up and told me 'hey, let's play ping pong.' I responded with 'Callate' (Spanish for stfu) I didn't even know this until he told me the next day. What a random thing to say though...I mean...Callate? That wasn't the first incident, but it's funny. :lol:

DO IT! It's a great opportunity. My sister did a semester in Scotland, and she says it was one of the best times of her life. I am planning to study abroad in England.

I'd love to do that, but don't have the grades or the money to do something like that. :(

Part of my problem was me never leaving the country for anything, and how much of a culture shock it would probably be, even if I went to a country that is similar to the US in some respects... I don't have a passport or anything. I think I'd be miserable.

It won't be as big of a culture shock as you may think. I have grown up in both USA and Europe, and never had much of a problem adjusting.
