nada
i'll get on that |
it's very interesting krautrock
throbbing gristle claimed to be very inspired by them, and even tho they predated industrial records i'd venture to say that they are more true than any of the bands on that label not trying to fellate faust but they are the perfect mix of prog, sunshine pop and industrial noise, with some pretty operatic elements |
i'm interested
which album should I go for? |
I think So Far is their best album, but I'd start with the self-titled.
It's three 10+ minute songs with all kinds of sound collage and experimentation, they started adding more conventional song structures later |
righto, cheers
ive got the album land of ukko and rauni by faust and i quite like it. its from like 2000 though so i guess ive never heard their old stuff.
I haven't listened to any of their newer stuff, their first four albums are all classiks tho
you should check out the one i mentioned, its good stuff
likewise ill eventually listen to their old material |
I still need to get their third album, i've been putting it off forever
but then naturally i will look into their newer releases |
thread needs more Pink and Yellow / Cripples Crossing Highways / Catfight on a Hotdog split
it should happen
as soon as I can throw something quality together i will contribute it
its worth noticing though that Aaron writes about 20 songs for every 1 CCH or PaY track |

arghhh so good |
they look pretty cool
i've never met them in real life but they're very good at sound collage / synth pop
and australian, i think ? |
guy on the very left looks mutated
i'll check them out. have you heard SPK yet Alex?
lol do you even know what band i'm talking about ? im not sure i even mentioned it
noooo i still haven't listen to SPK yet, i really need to tho |
severed heads clearly
just making sure, some people dont know how to copy img location
squarepusher is great, from the small amount of stuff i've heard so far
I'm digging this band All Leather that I just listened to a couple days ago. I don't know exactly what to call it genre-wise but it's like hard rock and kind of reminds me of what Mindless Self Indulgence would be like if they weren't gay.
downloading SPK's debut presently
you would probably like Leichenschrei a lot
cheers, i'll pick it up once i've given this debut a few listens
