He's the drummer.

King_Of_Terrors 12-30-2005 10:56 PM
He's the drummer.
I see that now, with a massive drum kit.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 12-30-2005 11:09 PM

Shadows 12-30-2005 11:16 PM

He played for At the Gates too, so I'm surprised he's not more famous than he is. Probably because he followed Nick Barker, who is even better.

Thor 12-30-2005 11:27 PM

I'll show all you Cradle fans on of the coolest drum pictures of all time. It's Nick Barker's drumset.

King_Of_Terrors 12-30-2005 11:59 PM

HOLY SHlT a fat guy and a kickarse drum set. This awesome, it's probably either some weird metal or just spray painted

azbassman 12-31-2005 12:07 AM

Hey it still looks freaking cool.

King_Of_Terrors 12-31-2005 12:08 AM

Yeah it does. My drummer left his kit at my house, I'm gonna spray paint all black

azbassman 12-31-2005 12:13 AM
you said it supernerd:chug:
cradle of filth rock
so who is everybody's favourite member of CoF?
mine would have to be dani filth, i know, i know everybody like him. oh well he is still my favourite
As a Keyboardist i have to say Martin "Foul" Powell when we was still a member.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 12-31-2005 12:14 AM

i think joeys kit looks cool dont care what anyone says bout him i think hes a good drummer but i think alot of ppl are good drummers and he has an awesome kit to me

King_Of_Terrors 12-31-2005 10:19 AM

Who exactly is Joey?

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 12-31-2005 11:10 AM
Who exactly is Joey?
Joey jordison of Slipknot man but like i said alot of drummers are good ive heard some crappy as well lol

King_Of_Terrors 12-31-2005 11:23 AM

oh. He isn't exactly a "good" drummer. The band has three drummers, yet they still manage to be horrible.

Shadows 12-31-2005 11:24 AM

Silence Jay, this is not the place.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 12-31-2005 11:47 AM

no comment im not getting into it with you or anyone else on the subject of whether slipknot is good or not ppl have there own opinions about the band but alot of ppl do like them

King_Of_Terrors 12-31-2005 12:39 PM

True...I will shut up about Slipknot know. They still don't need three drummers

So Madwson(sp?) Sent me "Better to Rain/Reign In Hell". I quite like this song, Dani does some crazy stuff with his voice in this.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 12-31-2005 01:36 PM

nvm heard it sounds intresting tho i have a question does he do all the growling or does someone else?

azbassman 12-31-2005 01:38 PM
nvm heard it sounds intresting tho i have a question does he do all the growling or does someone else?
yeah im pretty sure dani does all of the vocals.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 12-31-2005 01:41 PM

he has good range i think as far as i know not many ppl can do the type of stuff he does with his voice thats very cool

King_Of_Terrors 12-31-2005 01:44 PM

Yeah he does do some "dangerous" things, I would be scared as hell to try some of those high pitched screams.

azbassman 12-31-2005 01:52 PM
Yeah he does do some "dangerous" things, I would be scared as hell to try some of those high pitched screams.
I can reach alot of the stuff he can. It took me a while but after a while your voice gets used to it. When i first started doing any metal vocals it was so hard on my voice, but now i can do it with relative ease.

Why is this so hard for you to spell? :p

Is that all you've heard from Damnation? It's a great album. Mannequin, Babalon AD, Hurt and Virtue, and Doberman Pharaoh are my favorites, but the entire album is great.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 12-31-2005 02:25 PM

i need to get more of there albums, i have to order my albums online and they had so many cof albums to choose from i didnt know what to get and i didnt even know if i would like them at the time

Well everyone is saying its on thing or another.

That is the only song I have from this album as well.

Moses 12-31-2005 02:38 PM

Growling and screaming are easy and don't really wear on your voice if you do them correctly. Dani however, uses different and dangerous techniques, mainly using inhalation to get the sounds that he gets. I've tried some of these techniques and I actually use one in an intro of one of my bands songs, it makes me sound really really deep. I don't do it often though because I'd hate to ruin my singing ability.

Those inhalation techniques work if you dont over use them. There meant for short little sections.

Moses 12-31-2005 02:54 PM

Yeah, that's what I use them for. Sadly Dani Filth uses them pretty much most of the time and will ruin his vocal chords. Probably already has.

Well his voice has lasted this long...probably not much more though.
