BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 08-23-2004 07:41 PM

Did you know that scientists think all life on earth started from little white worms 100th of cenimeter long that are 3 billion years old?

Bartender 08-23-2004 08:03 PM
I know alot. If you want a lot of dirt go to the pit and search for Spiderman 2. It was a thread I started on opening day (right after I saw it  ) and it has links and a ton of information about Spiderman.
Did it tell you why Spiderman consistently chooses Mary Jane over Black Cat, when clearly Black Cat > Mary Jane?

Because it's pissing me off.

Dancin' Man 08-23-2004 09:29 PM

I like MJ better. I hope Black Cat is in a movie.

Dancin' Man 08-23-2004 10:04 PM

shameless bump.

I wonder if there's ever been an a capella emo group.

Riva 08-23-2004 10:08 PM

What about an a capella Death Metal band? Now that would be interesting to see. :)

Dancin' Man 08-23-2004 10:15 PM

Metal already has Apocolyptica. Emo gets a capella.

Paranoidd 08-24-2004 08:12 AM

WTF is going on...it's summer here and its freezing...mother nature is a bitch.

superpeer 08-24-2004 09:34 AM

Ah, Apocalyptica, seeing them live, next week. :)

Bartender 08-24-2004 09:46 AM

^:(
I like MJ better. I hope Black Cat is in a movie.
Black Cat is so much better. MJ does sod all; if he chose Cat, they could beat up the bad guys together (which they have, and occasionally do, I know, but I mean permanently), plus they could actually go around the city together without him having to forgo the pleasure of swinging around the place. Not to mention Cat actually has a personality.

Ah well, I guess it's just me that thinks so.

Paranoidd 08-24-2004 09:54 AM

You know how pissed I was in the spider man movie?

I kept waiting for him to bang the chick and then the movie is over and nothing happened. The movie JUST finished in the theater and I let out this really loud "What the Fvck?!"

I was very disappointed. I would have hit it.

superpeer 08-24-2004 10:01 AM

Haha, I hate it when you're the only one doing something out loud in the cinema.

Like that time I laughed out loud when the serial killer was drowning his victim.

Dancin' Man 08-24-2004 10:01 AM

Me too. Tobey Maguire in that spandex is hawt :naughty:

That was who you were talking about wasn't it?

Dancin' Man 08-24-2004 10:03 AM

I have a friend who laughed while the Godfather died. It was at a college cinema and she thought the little boy running was so funny and started laughing. Needless to say, she got whacked.

Paranoidd 08-24-2004 10:04 AM

The Godfather has tons of funny parts...I started laughing when the chick is running around the apartment breaking plates and stuff and her husband is like "yeah, break it all, go for it." Then she finishes and he goes "Now, CLEAN IT UP!!!!"

Oh man...toooo funny.

I have the trilogy on DVD man...its too good.

Bartender 08-24-2004 10:06 AM

I laughed quite a lot when Michael's wife gets in his car, going "I drive to you!", and then the car explodes.

I can't find the damn thing for less than £50 :(

Paranoidd 08-24-2004 10:08 AM

How about this line:

"Listen here you guinea dago"
"I'm German Irish"
"Well then, my Mick Kraut friend"

It's not THAT funny, but I piss myself laughing everytime I see it.

Paranoidd 08-24-2004 10:09 AM
I can't find the damn thing for less than £50 :(
Parents bought it for me birthday...I have it on VHS too, so I didn't think buying DVD was a neccessity, but I don't mind having it if I don't have to pay for it.

Dancin' Man 08-24-2004 10:09 AM

hhahahah

Racial Slurs > everything else

Bartender 08-24-2004 10:12 AM

Except Black Cat.

(a)

I really hope they don't put her in one of the movies, actually. Whoever did it wouldn't do it well.

Paranoidd 08-24-2004 10:13 AM

They should have done Venom, that would have been interesting.

Dancin' Man 08-24-2004 10:13 AM

I really doubt female villianesses/heriones since catwoman
The first catwoman was awesome but Halle Barry = Crap

Dancin' Man 08-24-2004 10:14 AM

There are supposed toi be 6 movies. There's still time for Venom. It would take 2 movies though to complete Venom and Carnage.

Bartender 08-24-2004 10:37 AM

I'd rather they went with Kingpin, the Owl, and so on, especially if they did decide to introduce Black Cat.

EDIT: Maybe Quentin Beck.

Paranoidd 08-24-2004 12:11 PM

Talk about a lack of good threads today.

I doubt they'll put Kingpin in, because they used him for the Daredevil movie. Venom's practically a given for one of the movies, because they introduced Jameson. And I really hope that Carnage makes it into one of them, but I'm not counting on it.

Fibonacci 08-24-2004 12:44 PM
Does anyone here have an inordinate amount of knowledge of Spiderman/comics in general?
Yes.

(sorry, it's been a couple days, need to catch up. Yeah, actually, I didn't start posting on this forum again until three or four days ago, so considering the fact that people I know who started at the same time as me are now at 5,000, I have a helluva a lot of posts to make.)

EDIT:

The Owl?!?! I couldn't stand the Owl. Huge spidey fan, but I still don't have a problem with saying the Owl was a dark time in Spiderman history.

Oh and how I wish that they would include the Venom in one of the six films.

Bartender 08-24-2004 01:05 PM

Well my thinking was that since Doc Ock is gone, if they wanted to introduce Black Cat then the Owl is the way in - she was defeated by the Owl and Doctor Octopus, which is why she went to Kingpin for "real" superpowers..

I haven't seen Daredevil, so I didn't know they'd used Kingpin there. Never mind, then.
Talk about a lack of good threads today.
Yeh, lets do that.

I think a sacrifice to the gods is in order to rectify our 'good' thread deficiency. All those with me say aye!

rockeded not rolleded 08-24-2004 01:16 PM

Sup thread?
